No i just know him very well and been around him alot and like I said I used to work with him. He did nothing wrong that night. That lap car shoulda never came up into him an he knew he was up there. That guy must not know what the layover flag means. and it was only one week he was suspended and that was for throwing the security guys around and the lapped car owner told tvr they wouldn't be back if nothing was done so that was the only reason for the one week. He might not be big but im pretty sure he put one security guy up over the wall and got one other outa the way.

I told u where I worked with him, how bout u. Maybe I know u too! JB & I know each other. we watched him runover lots of cars . very fast car but throttle linkage to brain was sticky Later guys !

Car owner was not only one calling for hiim to be kicked out. I personally told them I would never return to the track if they left the baby get away with that. I was there that night. Call it what you want but everyone else passed that lapped car without incident. Everhart's cars are often fast but his brain rarely can keep up. If he would have ever learned to just pull out and pass cars could have done alot more. He tore up so many other drivers cars over the years its rediculous. He is an idiot. Always has been always will be in my book. Once again good riddence, when I am back up in the area can enjoy going to the races again without seeing his antics.

I worked with him quite a few years ago when he worked at grannas bros. Back when he started racing. Id like to see you guys in a car. Race for 20 years and lets count up Ur wins and championships and top 10s and top 5s. Im not sure on them id have to find Steve's dad an ask him as he kept every race on record since Steve started racing. The only time he would run into guys is if they deserved it. If guys didn't race him clean he wouldn't race them clean the same as any other driver woulda done. Get aholda Mike satosky and see what he thinks of everhart as Mike had several Nicknames for him throughout the years. Im pretty sure he had more friends in racing than enemy's but Like I said say what unz want people that know him well know any of what Ur saying isn't true. Im pretty sure Steve's semi late year at tvr he had 12 wins and five of them were in a row which led to a points championship. Steve had several great years of racing and lots of feature wins. 08 won both tvr and Bedford points championships. Im also pretty sure he had a ton of fans at the tracks he raced.

Every driver has some fans. I didnt follow his non super late career closely as during that time he ran tracks that I didnt go to, but from very early in his super late career he developed the get out of my way or I will spin you attitude. If its always the "fastest" car that wins why dont we line up on a dirt drag strip and just race that way. Sometimes a skilled driver can hold off someone with just a fast car unless that guy drives like a demo derby. Been to the same tracks and while Steve had his group of fans there were a ton of people that could not stand his antics.

I raced a street stock years ago but my back and wallet told me to stop! I've wrenched on racers for 25+ years how bout u? some of those cars were crashed by MR.E later guys

I haven't had the money to race if I did id be in one. Ive been around racing all my life used to help a buddy out but thats been years ago. Then I met Steve when I started working at grannas and helped him quite a few years until he went to imlers even then still went and watched him every week where ever it was he was racing that week. Didn't miss too many nights of watching him. And you say some of those cars uve worked on been wrecked by him............ evidently they did something to deserve it because he didn't wreck guys just for the Hell of it.

Thats just a few ive gathered up over the years I haven't bought any for the past couple. Hell of a good guy and a great driver............. hate to see him quit.

Guess 90% of the cars on most racetracks deserved it. I have seen him hit just about everyone he passed on a given night at Bedford, but I forget they all drove him dirty so it was fine. I think he is quitting because from what I have seen and heard lately all his antics are catching up to him and it was now being returned pretty regularly. But enough of this post. Can see you think Steve does nothing wrong even when its even been on tape how stupid he is.

YOU THINK thats why hes quitting....... that has nothing to do with why hes quitting from what I hear. I herd today most of his stuff is already sold. And if he wrecked guys every single night he woulda been thrown out. I think Ur just jealous of him for some reason or another people bash each other cause they dont like them or just jealous and I think its both with you ........ jealousy sucks man it ain't gana get you anywhere.
