ASCS took the Racesaver rules and ran with them. All the while throwing up a big FU to french and his political country club BS. ASCS is one of the BIGGEST sanctioning bodies in the country and will make the brodix headed 305 class explode. If you guys need to do anything in western PA.....its learn by ASCS's example! B)

They took the Racesaver engine rules. Then they had a $5000 to win 305 race. Now if they had taken the Racesaver rules or ideas that race would have paid $2500 to start. Something tells me that didn't happen. Also earlier this year they cut the top prize in their 360 division. They start an economy 305 division and pay more, at least in that race, more than the 360 division they have been developing for years. But they do have good 360 rules. So if you're starting a 305 class, take the Racesaver rules. If you're starting a 360 class, take the ASCS rules. At least, take the engine rules. :)

I'm all for the racesaver engine rules, I don't think anybody is debating that they are a great set of proven rules. BUT, when they start telling me where I can and can't race, that is going way too far!

Yeah I dont think anyone is really disputing the rule package. I think the rule package racesaver has devolped is great. They have a crank weight rule, spec head, and really allow the engine to be a small factor of the equation on winning races. The only thing I dont like as John Doe stated is the rule restricting racers on where they can run.

Do you both have or will you both have Racesaver engines next year?
