I fully respect you're opinion, but is this a true statement or are you just joking around?

I'll second that! Weather looks fantastic too. Rain on Friday should give us a great track on Saturday.

I give a hoot where you want to go to the races, just don't hijack a thread about PPMS to talk about some other event.

Well, actually you did. You stated that the racing will be better somewhere else. Maybe you should start a Mercer thread about the mods?

Very busy week, UFo POINTS

This season, the top 5 that show up at an event get a $100 bonus, there are no other fees for tracks to hold an event. Each speedway is entirely responsible for all aspects of their UFo event. Each Speedway can profit by holding a successful event. Hoosier and American Racer add a per event point fund that will be paid at year end.

UFo is a marketing name for tracks who want to be involved. Regional drivers benefit from the decent purse and getting some bonus show up money and point money. The only way a track can benefit from the UFo name is by holding a successful event as part of the UFo alliance of speedways. We hope both racers and fans enjoy these special UFo events and appreciate the support the speedways who have hosted the events have received.

I would doubt it, he hasn't been to Pittsburgh in quite some time.

Steve's team does not race many races in a year, mainly close to home or very big paying races.

I know. It's been many years it seems.

Not like the glory days of a 2k to win super series race with him, balzano, hitt, mason, hartman, andrews, frank and others showing up....

Absolutely! It was neat to see who would show from far away.... John Gill, Mike Duvall, Moyer, Boggs, Pierce, Madden, etc. Good times...
