Is it true that the bike races were ran last night, with rain all over the radar map, before the patriot sprints could run there feature? These guys traveled hours and took a back seat to the bike races? Surely I am missing something.

Even if they did run the 360's before the bike races they probably wouldn't of got but a couple of laps in. They pushed the bikes races pretty fast. The funny thing is when I left the track it was bone dry in the town of Mercer. The rain hit the track just right. Nothing to complain about or start B.S.

I've been to MRP 7 times this year and my only two complaints are too many divisions and the dust, dirt. Both of these are something you are going to deal with when you go there. I want to thank MRP's management for supporting the sprintcars, the division I like. I was not there last night ,we took a ride on the HD out of Oil City, I looked at the radar before we left an thought everything south and west of us were doomed. We stayed dry going east. When I saw that the only feature race compleated at MRP was the bike race I thought you got to be kidding. bike races over travelers, I don't know what happens behind the seens but this looks real bad from anybody sitting in the stands. I am glad I spent my 15$ someplace else last night. Just my opinion!

Yes, they ran the bike races last night prior to the feature...in the pits after the 305 heats were done they were calling for the cars to the lineup then all the sudden bikes appeared on the track. There would have plenty of time to get the feature in, just not to be I guess. Feel bad for the drivers who came and ran for I guess nothing, think it would have been a really good feature.

PAstate, you clearly did not drive 10 hours to race. Otherwise, you would be very upset to spend $4 gallon gas to racefor nothing cuz the kids bike races were more important. Come on now.

I am going to defend Mercer on this one!!! I was watching the weather on my phone and while the first 305 heat was on the track radar looked good. You can bad mouth me as much as you want but I am a TOP NOTCH radar reader. Just ak my friends that I go there with. Duruning the 2nd 305 heat I looked at radar and shit just popped up. We saw Altman told him about it showed him and he Frank jumped into action THE PROBLEM? The Patriots were not really ready IF you noticed they were hurriny with cars on the track while handing out the prizes for the bikes. NOW could some things been done different SURE they new the weather was iffy WHY not have run them even before the 305 heatss. I talked to the Patriot guy and he was a super nice guy and they ssaid they were also trying to push them along. Just to bad this happened and the real shame was u got 200 ft past pit road entrance and there was NO RAIN

It was going to rain out either way. At least our youngest race fans had the opportunity to get out on that track and have a little fun before mother nature ruined the entire night. I'm sure having the chance to race their hearts out on the front stretch meant more to those little kids than watching the 360's meant to us. I don't think Mercer management was trying to be malicious in anyway on Saturday.

Wow, again I say. The people defending this did not drive ten hours at 4 dollars a gallon at 6-8 miles to a gallon. The kids could have come back at another time. Little guy nationals maybe? Would have been more fitting I think anyway. We traveled to cove valley speedway two years ago for an all star race. They literally stopped all the other racing for the day and ran only us so we could get the show in because we had all traveled a good distance and radar looked like a christmas tree. As we were loading up, about 2 minutes after the feature,it let loose and poured. Point is, these guys should have come first with weather pending.

The track got there money they don't give a damn that you towed there used your fuel for heat races and bought pit passes. It's pretty sad in my eyes. They win either way good job Mercer raceway park.

Wasn't meant to be. The 358s were the first feature till they decided to put the 360s before us. They started the bike. Races cause the patriots were not ready. I know cause I was pitted next to them on the back stretch. It started misting when some were still in the pits. Just wasn't enough time even with no bike Races. A regular 410 show runs faster on a weekly basis cause the guys are familiar with the lineup and where to go. Just took the travelers a little longer to get ready. Mother nature won that race. Armbands are good for the next couple weeks so you will still get your moneys worth. I was sitting on the front row for the feature that wont be made up. What did I lose? Nights like tihis happen so we just deal with it.

Mr. Mathieson if all we had run Saturday was that one feature you are complaining about, the show would have been considered complete with no rain checks. Then you and the Cwynar mini stock team (fast 216) would have been on here complaining because all Mercer cares about are the traveling teams and not local teams or local fans like yourself. You DID NOT drive 10 hours so quit playing that game. You live in or at least have a Mercer mailing address. Funny how you take it upon yourself to be negative spokesman for the Patriots who have not said one bad word. BTW the kids bike races were already rescheduled for the third time on Saturday. This late in the year your scheduling options are very limited. A track must balance the interests of all of its fan components, not just one.

One of the points of a user name is to remain anonymous if one wishes to, but being a track announcer for mercer you must feel the need to call people out by name and try to paint them in a bad light.

Its important for you to understand with out racers even coming to mercer what exactly would you do on your sat's nights, btw, you where you not even there on sat.

regardless if someone drives 10 minutes or 10 hours, we are all entitled to our feeling on the matter some just stated more respectfully then others.

Armbands are good for the next couple of weeks, but what if you were one of the people that came with the 22 Patriot Cars? Armbands aren't any good to us, unless we use them to wrap our bubble gum in for throwaway... I'm not complaining because it rained, that's just part of the deal, but they could have brought us back for our feature in the next two weeks...not sure if that was discussed or not...

Or, you could have ran the travelers. Got there race in. Then said ok everyone can come back next week. Since when can the owner not change his policy on a rain check. He owns the track. and say hay. Come back next week. I will take wat curtis 86 says as I believe his theory is likely correct and makes more since. We were racing down 2 hours away in pittsuburgh and got rained out ourselves. So Mr. 3799 I wasnt even in the neighborhood when this all went down. I understand the principal that shit happens. BUT, as a driver who has gone 10 hours plus to race before I would be awfully upset if I had to sit through bike races knowing rain was looming near. When I started this post, I hoped that it was not true. After hearing from Mr. Curtis I feel now that it would have been tough to get the race in anyway. However, still should have put the travelers before the bike races.
