ideas for race tracks to make money !!

They should start charging to park cars and charge to park rigs !! And they can charge an enviromental fee for each tire ground on the speedway grounds !! And they can chage a fee for each gear change incase any oil spills !! And they can charge a littering fee for each tear off a driver uses !! And a waste collection fee for any empty beer cans left behind !! And a foul language fee where any time you swear you put a dollar in the bar tab jar !! And they can charge for paper towels in the bath room like at a strip joint !! And they can offer a vip bottle service fee like at nice clubs !! And they can have a surcharge for each pound over 200 someone weights because they take more room in the seats !! And the grand stand admission should never be less than a 100 dollars and pits never less than 200 !! and never less than a 8 dollars for a beer And it still a bargin because at club XS in vegas beers are like 14 dollars and tickets for the superbowl are minimum 600 and more like 2500 minimum on the secondary market ... And no one will tell me the superbowl is better than watching 3- 4 clyinders battle it out !! Clearly dirt tracks dont compete with other dirt tracks they compete with vegas clubs, the superbowl, world series, nba finals, stanley cup finals and college basketball championship game !!! Every moron knows that !!

lol... Obama wont let it happen now will he? Oh thats right, he already has it in progress... my bad. Our current Federal government leadership wants this kind of thing to happen across the board and it is happening - this rant just puts it into a racing perspective.

Wouldn't surprise me if race tracks started charging for spectator parking. I don't agree with it but I don't know how far off we are from it...

why dont you throw more ideas out there.(sarcasm) im sure some promoters have pondered that thought.(serious) IF that ever occured , you guys park at the local Sheetz and i'll pick you up in my over-extended amish ford econoline..Wouldn't surprise me if race tracks started charging for spectator parking. I don't agree with it but I don't know how far off we are from it...

Im not sure you understand some track promoters work on a different concept that makes sense on a planet other than the one rational people reside upon.. Let me explain... if you have a bar for instance and when it opens its packed and you sell 1000 drinks a night at 3 dollars for a gross of 3000 and over the years attendance drops off and you only sell 500 drinks... the conclusion some owners may come to is that they need to charge 6 dollars for drinks to make the same 3000 they used to. The only problem is that once you do this the regulars get sick of 6 dollar drinks real quick and go elsewhere to a place that charges prices COMPETITIVE with other establishments that provide THE SAME good or service. The correct solution is figure out why attendance dropped and make corrective measures to not only restore attendance but to boost it to levels never before seen so an additional bar is necessary.. The people who try the first example go out of business and blame everyone but themselves and the people in the second example go on to be very successful and create other successful businesses because THEY take responsability and institue corrective measure to turn the sinking ship around. Some times the corrective issues that need to be taken are beyond the financial capacity of said owners at which point they should sell the business to someone who can afford to run it correctly in a manner that generates profits. As always my comments arent directed at anyone in particular im just talking business in general lol. If anyone would like some awesome examples come see me after the races at any track , examples I can provide are even more entertaining than my ground breaking how to be a gold digger 101 teachings on face book !! Hell, Heidelberg and the Pittsburgh Racing Assoc. use to charge for parking and that was back in the 50's-60's and early 70's. It was .25 cents, but then it was around $2-4 to get in the stands and $5-6 for pit fees, (you did have to join the PRA to get in the pits back then, which also was $5.00, but it went to the point fund).Wouldn't surprise me if race tracks started charging for spectator parking. I don't agree with it but I don't know how far off we are from it...

At Eldora my friends and I were standing at the front gate and were talking to the guy who checked coolers and for beer, and he had this tool that measured if the coolers were too big, well we turned it around and started using it to check the girls walking in lol
