Thanks stand alone, i was handed to us, started on the pole because he won the dash with Boyer, Stiles and Britsky. Yes we had our problems but it worked out,. Led every lap in the feature, those that counted, Chris had a couple great runs and although he did not clear; he was hooked up.

I would have to say that I'm not a huge Fenton fan but he did run a smart feature. Handed to him?? Not exactly but someone somewhere was on his side to win last night. Between starting on the front row of the heat, the dash and the feature which I understand starts with the pill draw not through favoritism. But going sideways in the middle of the corner causing a huge cluster **** the first lap of the heat and also the dash and still getting a complete restart on the front row and not to mention the turn 4 tire ending up on the track via 55 without the normal penalty of such an incident helped graciously. Yes the street stocks extra widening of turn 4 was a lot worse but both times should have drawn a caution for both the 8f and 55 with both going to the rear for doing so. I think we've all seen the deal with heindl and joiner who both clipped a tire and gone to the rear along with Farrell. And last but not least the cautions every 2 laps for the last 15 laps and the strategic brake checking starts definitely helped along the way to Denny's biggest victory of his career. Again I'm not trying to bash the 55, just saying luck was definitely on his side last night. Hats off to him for bringing his car home with both door panels semi straight and with a big w! Congrats to Farrell on another great run. He definitely was the fastest car on longer green flag runs. Someone had the tires and setup spot on!! All in all it was one of the better shows at the bird this year with exception to the typical flagmen errors but nobody is perfect. Please notice the plural "flagMEN" racecar, not just pointing a finger at you. Already can't wait til next year and will miss all of the racestud drama over the winter.

You know pump, we did have things go our way last night, but maybe you should talk to the guys starting the feature behind Denny about the brake checking comment, that is far from true, starting at a different pace and a different location, absolutely, that is racing. We started 4th in the heat race by the way. The car coming sideways and others getting caught up, yes that happened and has happened to us numerous times in the past as well. Thanks for the kind words; it sure was fun to have Chris right there as well and if it had gone the other way, that would have been fine as well.

Highlight of the night... well actually two... 1) Seeing Scott run down to the flagstand as Denny's crossing the line at the finish. 2) After the races were over, having a woman come up to the booth and say "I just want to thank you for all you do for the Hahne Cancer Center. As a patient I really appreciate it." Don't know who she was, and those may noy have been her exact words, but it was pretty close. Of course, Todd & Brenda, their family & friends deserve the credit for the fund raising. But my point is... it's a good feeling to be a part of it and know people appreciate what is done. Congratulations to the #55 team on a great win. And also to winners in the other classes... Paul Kot, Ben Smith, and Chuck White. Thanks to everyone who made it a successful night. Hope to see you all next Saturday for the specials in memory of Ina Caltagarone.

Yes Dave that is what this race is all about, helping raise money for cancer patients. I enjoyed the racing last night and congrats to Fenton racing on their win. I would like to see some sort of time trials for qualifying, that way the faster cars don't get caught up in wrecks at the back of the pack due to a bad pill pick. I hope next weeks race draws in a good field of lates and SS, it would be nice to see someone add 200 dollars to the late purse to make it 1,000 dollars for the steelblocks. ;)

Mash the loud pedal.

Scott I understand the different locations and pace of the start. I wasn't saying it was every lap but a few times yes it did happen. And my bad on the heat race. I just remembered him on the outside towards the front. Again I'm in no way bashing Denny. In fact in your case I have utmost respect for what you do for the racing community and know you would be the first in line to help anyone at the track and give all the advice you can. And also know the time that you put into your cars and researching and everything else that goes into this sport. It showed the night you let Dave and his son run your street stocks at intermission and to have one wrecked pretty bad and to show more concern for the safety of them rather than the tore up car. And also with Ron fox in your late model with giving him that awesome chance to run a late model. Congrats again on your win and good luck at Mckean county!

I also heard he hit the grader while it was parked!

It's a darn good thing that new Rousch/Yates motor was able to pull that new Bloomquist chassis arould the monsterous, high banked, fastest 1/4 mile south of Kyle Lake, soon to be owned by Tony Stewart, georgia red clayed speed plant!
Sad to have missed this race for this year hopefull too have a reserved suite ( heat & AC included) for next years show
Now I'm hearing Scott was diagnosed with "Cheeseburgeraitis" Lets hope ( for the consession workers sake) this rumor is unfounded.*

*readers discrection is advised as the views of this obviously uneducated, non race attending, bleature creature are strictly the writers views and in no way supported or reflected by Racestud, Hummingbird Speedway, President Obama, The legand or Paula Abdul.

25 cars had 35 laps to unseat the Fenton team, didn't happen, period. Racing is racing. You take every advantage of every opportunity. Next week you could be in the back, blown up or crashed out. Denny was flat out fast, the car was spot on all night. Great job guys!

Congrats Dennis on a great run and don't worry about what anyone says you guys know what you had to overcome to win that race and you guys beat all odds. It don't matter if you started on the pole or last and won and win is a win. Let's look forward to Charlotte and i will be there for that. Sorry i couldn't be there to support you guys but it's great to hear you guys had an awesome night. I would like to thank all the sponsors and fans that showed up to celebrate his first super late model victory. Also the crew you guys are one of a kind to come out and stick with him. All you haters until you know exactly everything that happens on the track in the garage or in the pits don't bash someone because they win. I was talking to a pit crew member and it wasn't a flawless night for the 55 crew. they had problems with the car that they overcame and put on a hek of a show. i bet you can ask Chris Farrell if he handed that race to him, he will say no and that Dennis ran a good race. Now you guys said the reason he won is because he started on the pole. How about you going to a sprint car race and the guy checks out and no one catches him and he started on the pole you don't get on here and say crap about that. It's just pathetic what this world has come to and you can't have someone have a good night without anyone saying crap. GOOD JOB BROTHER and see you guys in Charlotte. Also a shout out to CHRIS great run and congrats on the points championship you guys worked hard for that and you can tell it paid off in the end.

Congrats to the 55 team for all they over came lastnight for the big win. My hats off to you. I just want to know why noone has said a word about the tech shed getting used lastnight because all year it was never used and they have a special and the tech guy wants to use it then. Why was this one car in ss singled out of all the cars that raced there all year, so is this track only going to look at cars on special events now or are they going to start next year off like this year and tech just late models and piss guys off cause the tech guy doesnt know his a$$ from a hole in the groud or will they put someone in the shed that knows what he is doing and what to look for.

Matter of the fact is that Fenton had the car to beat last night congrats to the Fenton crew car looked fast. Sad that some people can't handle getting beat by a home town " clown" but when I helped them guys out they busted their ass ever night on the car someone obviously did their homework once again congrats fentons!
