Some of you people are so funny!!! 50/50 is run by the fire co. 50% to winner. 50% to fire co. H B nothing. All this bad mouthing the track and you have no idea what is going on. How come no one said anything about the new clay? Its all worked in and going to sit all winter. So you can go ahead and bad mouth the track and I know you will and do me but you are only hurting yourselfs. I know of a track this year that the car count was down in street stocks owner said if I don't get more cars I'll have to pay less. Winner got 200 $. Never heard that from Lou or even on here! Why?????? So now its your turn to put the crap on me !!!! Bob

Why is that funny? I asked a question. That's all. Nor did I bash the track. BOB! The Flagman.

There's always more speed! And you don't have to cheat to find it!

Because you see the firemen selling the tickets and hear and know the firemen are doing it but you think H B has some thing to do with taking half the money! I'm not sure if he did it or not I do know of a track that wanted 10% before the firemen got there 50%. Thats why I think its funny!!!

yeah he just recently quit. he was at just about every race i can think of this past season and who got teched??? eddie, fuzzy, at the beginning of the year, and skip pulled into the shed for 10 minutes at the mick orsich memorial. a rule needs to be set as far as teching. should be like every other week. pick a different finishing position in the top 5 every time they tech a car. get a guy that can use a pump. 1 of the 2 cars that really got teched last year pumped out almost 20 cubic inches under what it actually was. which in that case it could have pumped 10 ci. over and it still would have been legal. improvements need to be made otherwise the cars are going to go elsewhere. i don't want to see that happen. and there is still no answer from you as far as where this "new" clay is coming from.

well let me tell you ...lol im skip lindemuth i was tech buy the tech guy and i was good someone told the tech guy that i had a 3 link ..and i was good ....but had 5 other cars pass me to get up there and i asked y me and they said they pick a number and they go from there .... but i was also told that they quit teching cars so i was the ginni pig lol ..but they said someone was complaining ...hhhhuuummmm i dont care its racing we have our shit on and no one else does then same on them ...i love to race everyone clean and fair and beat them ....so let the bashing begain with me ....

New clay? is thhis the same clay they used from Louie's stockpile in the marshland or is the screened clay from another location?
As for Hummingbird I will say this....You know where they are,,,you know what they run,,,you decide.
I'm pretty sure this is what has been keeping the doors oen

the clay came from out behind the pits. there was only a couple truck loads i believe the turns only got new clay. and no it wasnt screened

I hope Jeff Taylor runs this damn place in the ground bunch of ass holes that don't know how to run a race it don't take 30 laps to line cars up thought that's what new receivers were for what a joke

i wasn't bashing you skip. i'm just saying hummingbird only teched 3 cars all year. all 3 were street stocks. aside from them holding a stick up to the back of the late models at the scale. personally i like seeing you show up places cuz i know you're a good driver and i like good clean racing. and as far as the tech guy, i don't even really want to blame him because he took orders from above him. but i can't even believe that they pick random numbers. they say they do. i know there were people complaining about your car, thats why they teched you, not any random number.

but bob the flagman says its screened...so it has to be screened  i doubt that track has had any sort of "screened" clay on it for years. i've been hit with, and i have personally pulled rocks off of that track the size of a golf ball. and have seen rocks closer to the fence baseball sized. i wish i was exagerating but i'm not at all.

again. if that place would get some good screened clay, that place would have way better racing. period. not saying the place is a complete shithole or anything, but it needs improvements if they want to go against gamblers next year.

raceivers helped things alot. at least in my eyes they did. so thats a big step!

go to the points rundown in all the classes and look at how many cars were from Clearfield or the surrounding area and then think about what track they are going to next year . if Jeff Taylor pays the fwd class 225 to win ( if he gets a full field) where do you think they are going to ? has anyone heard anything else on the drivers meeting set for November 11th?

Clay? New Clay? The track never had clay on it and if they are putting the same stuff on it will be the same old dirt. Not only track like that nor will it be the last. The percentage of clay in that mix is very, very low. I think they need to raise the pay. This is not only at the Bird but every where. Payouts are basically the same as they were in the 70's in almost all classes and at every track.

I dont mean to bash Hummingbird, I like the track, Ive raced there for 11 years. I have to give them credit because they do know how to prepare a track. This was one of the best years for that tracks surface. For the most part is was always smooth and not as dusty as prior years. Its a dirt track your going to have some dust. My own personal opinion I believe they need to find themselves a new promoter and the place could have some potential. I think its very unprofessional by not having a banquet for the racers that made you money all year long, and the track cant even give them a little recognition for it. JMO . And as for the flagman, hes not the issue, most everyone down there knows that the so called promoter overrules every call the flagman makes.

Feel pretty bad for ya. You waited and worked so hard to get there... And nothing. That sucks. Dan.
