Only because some idiots that never did anything in the lower classes but get in the way and cause wrecks decided to move up to the limited late classI agree Chevy; actually the strongest car count every week was the Steel Block class; probably 20 or more on average. I do not think it will be shutting down any time soon either; the car counts have gone from 115 to 65 and the 50 lost cars were not just the rwd four cylinders, and it still keeps going. The fan count has been very steady since re-opening.

Some of you people are so funny!!! 50/50 is run by the fire co. 50% to winner. 50% to fire co. H B nothing. All this bad mouthing the track and you have no idea what is going on. How come no one said anything about the new clay? Its all worked in and going to sit all winter. So you can go ahead and bad mouth the track and I know you will and do me but you are only hurting yourselfs. I know of a track this year that the car count was down in street stocks owner said if I don't get more cars I'll have to pay less. Winner got 200 $. Never heard that from Lou or even on here! Why?????? So now its your turn to put the crap on me !!!! BobDoes not half of the 50/50 go to the banquet and pay for awards?

i'm not going to put any "crap" on you. we know its not your fault for most of the bad calls being made. if they got some good clay it would almost turn that place around. thats one of the biggest downfalls of that place is the dust. it's equally as bad as some of the calls that are made at that place. there are alot of things that could improve in a big way at that track but louie likes it how it is and won't change anything. and if someone finds something new that seems to work on the track that isn't in the rules, the following year its illegal... and where did this "new clay" come from??? is it being hauled in from somewhere else? is it screened? or are there going to be a bunch of rocks in it too? listen i'm a big hummingbird supporter. i've been going there since the place re-opened but come on. don't act like the place is a top notch racing facility. yes its a dirt track. yes its nearby. yes the pay is pretty good. and yes they still get quite a few cars as well as some good racing. but don't sit there and act like they couldn't improve the place almost 100% spending a little more money and hiring the right help. where is the awards banquet to appreciate the drivers????? answer that one. Some of you people are so funny!!! 50/50 is run by the fire co. 50% to winner. 50% to fire co. Don't know for sure where the clay came from but I do know Lou had trucks on standby the middle of Sept then rainouts didnt help him at all. He has a machine that screens the clay every year! Dust??? well it is a dirt track.Weather has alot to do with that, Sun, wind and temp. DER put the screws to that when they stopped the use of calcium. They do come and take dirt samples! Some tracks use Dawn soap, one track did use brine water. Rusted the crap out of your car almost over nite. I camped threre a few times and was awakened at 630 Sun morn by a grader working for the next Sat. So about the dust I don't know! The help is ok!! I think it would bebetter to charge the person that caused the mishap, then seeing how we aren't sitting in the car it makes it all our judgement call. Could improve on some of that. I know what happened to the banquet this year but its personnal so I'm not saying a word about H B. Dog Hollow stopped having theres about 2 years ago. I have trophys from Marion Center from the 80's with no banquet. Lou , me and alot of other people appreciated every one of of the drivers and crew members and fans that came every week. THANK YOU!!!!i'm not going to put any "crap" on you. we know its not your fault for most of the bad calls being made. if they got some good clay it would almost turn that place around. thats one of the biggest downfalls of that place is the dust. it's equally as bad as some of the calls that are made at that place. there are alot of things that could improve in a big way at that track but louie likes it how it is and won't change anything. and if someone finds something new that seems to work on the track that isn't in the rules, the following year its illegal... and where did this "new clay" come from??? is it being hauled in from somewhere else? is it screened? or are there going to be a bunch of rocks in it too? listen i'm a big hummingbird supporter. i've been going there since the place re-opened but come on. don't act like the place is a top notch racing facility. yes its a dirt track. yes its nearby. yes the pay is pretty good. and yes they still get quite a few cars as well as some good racing. but don't sit there and act like they couldn't improve the place almost 100% spending a little more money and hiring the right help. where is the awards banquet to appreciate the drivers????? answer that one.

i'm just saying with some improvements, and better coordination, and yes some better help. the place could be so much better. and yes on a dirt track you get dust i get that. but some of these races this year were pretty ridiculous. and what exactly was the point of having a tech guy and paying him to watch races this year? how many cars got teched?Don't know for sure where the clay came from but I do know Lou had trucks on standby the middle of Sept then rainouts didnt help him at all. yeah he just recently quit. he was at just about every race i can think of this past season and who got teched??? eddie, fuzzy, at the beginning of the year, and skip pulled into the shed for 10 minutes at the mick orsich memorial. a rule needs to be set as far as teching. should be like every other week. pick a different finishing position in the top 5 every time they tech a car. get a guy that can use a pump. 1 of the 2 cars that really got teched last year pumped out almost 20 cubic inches under what it actually was. which in that case it could have pumped 10 ci. over and it still would have been legal. improvements need to be made otherwise the cars are going to go elsewhere. i don't want to see that happen. and there is still no answer from you as far as where this "new" clay is coming from. From what I understand the tech guy quit. You want a job??? HA Ha
