Boyer tried wrecking Gordon twice before Gordon stuffed him. Basically what happened to Boyer is what would happen to gasser every single week by every single car she races against if she wasn't a girl. I have no clue why Boyer was soo pissed when you run people like that you should expect them to return the favor and Gordon did

You might want to look at the replays. They bumped a little on the backstretch, then Gordon basically screwed himself when he tried to take Bowyer out going into 3 but crashed himself. It cost Bowyer a 2nd place in the championship. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 56 repay the favor by taking out the 48 next week to get Bowyer back to at least 3rd.

A bunch of people with short memories here. Yeah, Gordon has won many races and 3 Championships. I won't deny his talent behind the wheel, particularly the first ten years of his career, or until his wallet got wedged between the bottom of the gas pedal and the floor board. But, when you win with regularity, you're generally not a cut above using the bumper from time to time, as Gordon did for three or four of his Bristol wins, among others. He also manage to piss the normally mild mannered Dale Jarrett off to the point where it took nearly everyone on pit road to keep DJ from strangling his scrawny ass. So, did Bowyer beat and bang a little? Absolutely. Gordon should have taken it like he dished it out many times before. Instead, he prevented Bowyer from having a fighter's chance next week, and wiped out a top ten for Logano and crashed Aric Almirola, to boot. I know it isn't going to happen, but I think he should be parked, the little prick.

NASCAR just announced Gordon got a fine, loss of 25 points, and on probation until the end of he year. Isn't there only one race left? Hendrick Racing got fined and docked 25 points. Bowyer's crew chief was fined and put on probation.

I am not taking sides here!! But what really ticked me off was KDKA-TV!!! They almost never report any NASCAR race results but here you have a brawl in the pits and there it is right on the Sunday night 11:00 news!!! Bet they would do a much better job if CBS ever got the NASCAR contract!!

Walt

You really still watch local news????

Gordon or bowyer, it doesn't matter to me. I enjoyed watching it. Its about time these guys got into something entertaining. NASCAR has been needing something like this and im sure the ratings will show that for the last race of the year. I hope they don't suspend either one of them for the last race, nascar needs some action going into the last race. I've never been a huge nascar fan, its has been to far outta touch as compared to local tracks. We've all seen this type of stuff go on here locally and I think it gives these guys some credit. Rather than being a advertising billboard they are racers.

Cant wait till next week!!

Johnson finished 12th on the lead lap, Gordon 14th 1 lap down. Wiped out????? Wiped out is when your car is on fire, bent everywhere and unable to continue. Come on Mike, if I raced like that at MRP you know I would be suspended. Thats why I don't race like that.

Bill I know you don't race that way. It's one f the things I respect most about you. Yes at any local I think what Gordon did would warrant a suspension, but this is NASCAR. We could never phathom the politics that goes on there. If we knew what gets on behind the scenes I dare say neither of us would be in racing.

A hundred G's and 25 points. That's like peeing in the ocean compared to what Jeffy is worth.

But then all of the drivers would have ju jitsu and striking coaches and it would become something totally different lol

Churchill Downs has a boxing ring in the jockeys' locker room. If two of them have beef, they strap on gloves and go a few rounds.

Kevin Harvick would start start pissing people off intentionally, just so he could kick their ass after the race in the cage. lol.

I was think more along the lines when he beat Greg Biffle's ass on pit road at Bristol a few years back.

He didn't beat biffle's ass, he just put him up against the car.

I agree and it upsets me as well that they wont say dick about local racing or Nascar on the local news but if there is something SHOCKING that went on like a big wreck or a fight ...Those SHOCK whores are all over it....

Anymore the local news is just a video version of Howard Stern - Show all the SHOCK stuff instead of what most people need to know about current affairs....Thats why the first 10 minutes is someone got shot, someone got killed, someone flipped over on RT80, there was a big wreck in Seattle due to fog...who cares....That news concerns 1 to 10 people at most, why not talk about something that concerns the majority....

Ridiculous...

I Did Too! .. Watkins Glenn and This race were the best i saw this year ! I like the OIL on the trck .. Last lap .. and they let them race back to the line / or caution years ago !
Put oil on the track .. a fight.. and a Danica wreck would be a great show every week
