Is this series officially dead? Not one word about it anywhere.

Considering they absolutely bent over backwards to not acknowledge me finishing second in points I would say its dead .... Jared was supposed to be the champion of the series and once it was realized that wasn't going to happen they mailed it in. This is not in anyway any type of knock on Jared , I know he's not the one who makes any of those decisions.

Just a couple of years ago this was the dominant series in the area with all kinds of pr, a good point fund, high car counts. What happened to it?

Challenger went black, and Jack Lentz got tired and gave up. Too bad someone didn't step up that had the foresight and wherewithal to keep it alive. They Miley regime seemed to succeed in putting the last nail in the UFO coffin.

Time Trials. As of now.. not every track we participate has the electronic loop and/or the computer software for Time Trials. ULMS doesnt have the software either for Time Trials. I know many of our racers (emods included) would love to see time trials. I am not saying that some tracks that have the system in place that will give us a option, but I am for one would like to see it done at certain events and definitely when the car counts get higher. We have done time trials the past few years at McKean for the FALL CLASSIC Priority Care event. Talks last year with Wayne County before talks broke down were in regards in using their TT system they use weekly for our show. ULMS is and always has been "flexible" and we will continue to be. As for UFo, I hope they do stick around as they do provide a need for the southern part of Pennsylvania late model racers that we dont fill.

Time trials for regional shows are worthless and do nothing but put unnecessary laps on the track. Pill draw shows keep the fans entertained which is the key to keeping racetracks open.

Qualifying rewards those who work extra hard to prepare . It's very frustrating to have your night made or ruined by pulling a number from a damn hat . There's no way for this sport to be taken seriously with the childish method of determining starting positions.

Without the fans in the stands you don't have anywhere to race, just keep that in mind. It's nice to know that the people who enable you to enjoy your hobby are an afterthought. Cars rarely get torn up in pill draw shows, that's just an excuse drivers and teams make so that they have to race and pass as few cars as possible. Even if I had a car I would want to put on a show for the fans, they spend their hard earned money to watch 2 and 3-wide racing, not a freight train.

Time Trails reward those who do them all the time! (Traveling series guys) If you don't want any of the Saturday night regular guys in the show....do time trails! Thats why in Lucas and WoO.....the top ten positions are allways ocupied by the traveling series guys! Inless I am mistaken legend...you are a Saturday night Miley Man! How would time trails benefit you???? Your best chance is with the Pill Draw! And thank God for those Provisionals! I spent the last so many months watching the Lucas oil series re-runs on speed every night! I think I would enjoy watching Bloomer have to beat his way up through the Junk! Thats why thier equipment is allways so spotless! They never have tro race Junk! Thats Great for the driver...but lousy for the fans! And Lousy for the Saturday night guy trying to make the show!

Suhoney...what planet are you on???? You have to outspend the other guy to win in this sport! Winning requires a higher level of spending! The average racer budgets one new tire a night! The winning drivers budget 4 new tires a night! Plus Robbie Allen for the origiinal consult at over 5k! Plus A Roush Yates at 50k The old addage was........"How do you make a million racing?????? "Spend two Million"! This has allways been about the money! Only in Junk yard racing does being smarter than the other guy count! What is Junk yard racing??? Having a car that requires you to go there for parts! But only the friends...parents. siblings...grandparents...and neighbors watch junk yard racing! Get up with the real world of racing. Its all about the money! And a little talant also!

Chassis set up wins these races , as long as your on good rubber and you have a solid 750 hp you have enough to win. Just because you time trailed well doesn't mean when the track drys out you will be any good at all. Everyone adjusts their car before it goes on the track . Some guess right some guess wrong , how else do you explain Marlar starting last and winning the hillbilly ? I know you people think I'm crazy but if I nail the set up on a given night I will be just as fast as anyone ... Can I run a hundred laps as consistant as the best ? Probably not. Now why I hate the pill draw.. If I go to 5 races at tracks I've never been to 4 nights my set up might be terrible and the night it's really good I pull the highest pill and start last, get stuck behind Mario carts or caughtin a wreck and never get to show it. I don't want to start in the front row unless I earned it by going fast enough in time trials. The part you guys miss is that pills draws do not make the fast cars start last !!! They have the same chance of pulling a 1 as anyone else. When guys are running for 10 k is it fair to a Jamie lathrom who has a legit chance of winning those races to have to start last in a 10 car heat when saterlee or covert is on the pole ??? Too much money is on the line to arbitrairly punish a guy for being fast. The biggest crowds I've seen all year were at time trial events so enough of this bullshit that fans won't go watch those events.. Time trials are the only way everyone has an equal chance, but you liberals don't want equal opportunity you want equal results !!!

Plenty of places to race without fans. Don't need them to go race around a track but for a fan to goto a track without cars and sit in the stands would be pretty boring
