Just got a message from Gene, he is in the Beaver County Hospital. Didn't say why just that they rushed him there. Lets keep him in our prayers.

Gene told me when I talked with him this A.M. they are suspecting complications from an unattended hernia ,the surgery people were determining what course of action. We really need to hold him up in our prayers along with his wife and little boy. I will try to keep all updated as I get information . In Christ Bill

I talked to Gene about 45 min. ago he has a tube down his throat and they suspect a blockage and a hernia they are doing a dye test and then a ct scan to determine the next step,he has a very hard time talking and so I said I would not keep him on the phone. Prayers are the need right now I will contact his wife for more information. Chaplain Bill

I just returned from seeing Gene he is in a lot of pain and they are medicating him for the pain he is very tired and yet he is Lube 265 he asks for your prayers he really wants to be home with his little boy and wife. Bill

I talked to Gene about 1pm today (monday) he told me he was having surgery in about an hour he ask me to call his wife and tell her we need to keep him lifted up in prayer. Bill

I just had amessage from Gene he is in the critical car unit and doing well they expect him to be in the hospitial for at least a week. I will continue to give updates as I get them our job is to keep praying for his recovery. Chaplain Bill

Gene called me last night, doing better, but the GREAT news is it was not cancer, GOD IS GOOD. Genes exact words.
