I went to see Gene today , he looks good says he is hungry, thats a good sign. He still has some pain in his abbs. but thats expected , the doctor says he needs to get up and get moving around a little bit will be starting clear liquids soon , he really wants some coffee let keep him in our prayers god bless !

I called Gene last night. He continues to try to get well but has some issues that doctor's are still working on. He is hoping to get home by Christmas ... but said he would not be surprised to be in the hospital .... Gene, has wifi and continues to spark our interest in yesterday's racing news. Lets keep Gene in our prayers and hope he can get out of the pits soon...

Thanks Walt and every one else on Racestud. Thay did some work on me today. Seem to be fillinf some better. Never was thinking i would git to this point. But i am filling some bedder.. Thanks All God Is Good

I talked to Gene a little while ago he told me a specialist from pittsburgh came in today and did a procedure with some steroids and his Bowels were producing some sounds,this is a great step for his recovery .If his bowels would noy work it would be a very serious situation,please pray that yhis treatment works.
