I think all of the GOP primaries should be held on one day that way the "mainstream" media wouldn't have enough time to character assassinate all of the good candidates until they have no choice but to quit and leave us with the one that they want to run against the Democrat.

It's the tea party folk who nominate all of these unelectable candidates, not the mainstream media. Keep blaming the media instead of some of the egregious positions these candidates take, and you'll continue to lose elections. Perfect example is Richard Lugar in Indiana. He would have been a shoe-in, but the tea party faithful nominated a fringe candidate who lost.

You are %100 correct. Watching the Republican primary was like watching a cartoon. What a bunch of Loonies. Romeny was the lesser of the WHACKO's. People like Dick Lugar are being driven out of the Republican party. Romeny and the R's lost because of their extreme positions. They pissed off women (rape comments, forced transvaginal ultralsound laws, anti choice etc), they pissed off blacks, immigrants, gays and a heck of a lot of blue collar people that work in the auto industry. Their policies of ingratiating millionaires so it helps average folks doesn't cut it. Wanna turn this country around. Pay people a living wage.... ok, I am done. This entire thread has no place on this board. The election is OVER folks. We had better get about working together as Americans to turn this mess around.

Romney was not the Tea Party's candidate. If anybody was a Tea Party candidate it was Santorum. You know its bad when following the laws of God and the Constitution are "egregious".
