The ufo races at mercer, bedford, tyler and ppms, lucas at the knob, eldora, dtwc, and several weekly ppms races, where would your hummingbird guys have competed for top 5's ?You ran Eldora twice you showed up for the UFO races; you ran you r home track of PPMS, what have you done beside show your ignorance every time you touch your I phone. I am amazed at how wonderful you are; why don't you check the credentials of some of those 2400 pound Steel block cars; Hell if you lined up against ten of those guys in a neutral site you might be surprised at how bad they whoop your ass. I appreciate you travel to the Eldora speedway and actually I followed your results out there and was actually pulling for you, but that is nit an accomplishment. When have you ever beat the cars that those Hummingbird guys have beat in home and neutral events. You assertion just validates my earlier post. Make a race or win a race at your home track and let people bash you about how subpar the local competition is.
Breaking news !!

I didnt realize hummingbird was a late model Mecca , I'm done with this coulda woulda shoulda pissing contest
My question had nothing to do with Hummingbird. I haven't been there in years.
But if you're going to talk trash about their drivers and ask if they could compete for wins or top 5's at the tracks you raced at
at least have the testicular fortitude to post where you finished at those events to back up your claims.

I have zero dogs in this fight but after reading the whole topic would like to know where "the legend" actually did finish at these races he mentioned. And since he was asked to answer and and won't like 99% of people who get called out on message boards, and then suddenly say I'm done with this, could somebody fill us in on his finishing spots and results?? Since nobody uses their real name on this board it's impossible to know who is who by screen names unless you know them from the track. Otherwise I would research results myself but I have no idea who the legend is.
What I found on the legend. I guess its from ppms.
After struggling in his heat race, Jon Hodgkiss took full advantage of the luck of the draw when the inverted start put
him on the front row for the 20-lap Limited Late Model main. Earlier problems resolved, Hodgkiss was off and running
as soon as the green was displayed. Rich Apolito and Jesse Burroughs tried to chase Hodgkiss down, but the potent
No. 69 just got stronger as the race progressed, and by the time the checker appeared, it was no contest for the win.
Hodgkiss picked up his fourth Advance Auto Parts Limited Late Model victory of 2004. Apolito was a distant second
with Burroughs third, Bobby Castelveter, from twelfth, finished fourth, and D.J. Miller completed the top five. Six
through ten were Jim Stephans, Jared Miley, Tony Sinicrope, Jim Shahan and Tommy Schirnhofer. Miller and
Burroughs won the heats, and Castelveter earned Hard Charger honors.

Why do you have to put down Hummingbird in this post? have you ever even been to this "backwoods" track? I bet not, come on up and i bet those guys that run them "96 bullits" stomp your ass just like the pms guys do...Doesnt everybody that shows up at any track race against the best guys there that nite?Where have I bragged about my accomplishments in a race car ??? Before I decided to run superlates i was able to win. The part your missing is that every track I go to im racing against the best guys at that track that night, I dont run back woods tracks like hummingbird where guys win with 1996 bullits. I will opeanly admit to anyone who asks I have not done as well as I would like to and a lot of that is a result of not having nearly enough time to prepare and trying to handle all of the set up decisions my self. If someone else makes you calls and does your chassis you didnt win the race they did. My comments on here do not make any claims that contradict what is stated above. I will do better this year. If you would like to come show me how easy it is theres plenty of cars and motors for sale buy yourself some and come show me

I will positively stand by my assertion that none of the hummingbird cars would have came close to competing for wins or even top 5's for that matter at any race I was at in 2012, that's not pompous that's not arrogant that's not opinion , that's indesputable fact
you werent competitive or competing for top 5s either how does that make you any better then the backwoods races from Humming bird??

Not enough time to prepare? Your on this site more than anybody, maybe you could spend that time on your car rather than wasting your time on here.
So setups win and driver does not?
whats wrong with winning 1996 bullit? Most track records were broke with the mid 90's cars and did not get broke again until the mid to late 00's and it wasn't by much.

How many times do you want him to openly admit that he isn't running as well as he would like in these races??? He already told you once. That should be enough.

Thank you !!! None of what I was posting had anything to do with running well, but apparantely when things don't go your way at the races that precludes you from having an opinion about anything racing related. If someone who sits in the stands is allowed to voice their opinion clearly I have earned that same right ..How many times do you want him to openly admit that he isn't running as well as he would like in these races??? He already told you once. That should be enough.

maybe if you got of the computer and stop talkin crap on a race mesg. board you might be able to set your car up and have a better chance to win but we all see where your priorities are!!!
