12.17 For the 2013 National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) racing season, an open tire rule is in effect, provided, the tires meet the 2013 National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Specifications, unless otherwise specified prior to events.

PIR and I-55 are UMP tire tracks and they are using UMP Tire rules, big shocker there.

The ump tires are stupid expensive ... I don't see the point of the local racers subsidizing the point funds of the guys who run ump nationallyIt's amazing to me that people can't wrap their head around such things. It's not nearly as big of deal as they make it.

You're not wrong, but it is what it is. Those tracks want you to run those tires, you have to run those tires.The ump tires are stupid expensive ... I don't see the point of the local racers subsidizing the point funds of the guys who run ump nationally
