What about the rest of the top 10? Will they finally be paid?

In regards to the FASTRAK points and payouts. As the rule book stated. We paid top 3 in "track" points. Not otp 3 FASTRAK members. To my knowledge I can't ever remember any series of any type that has "moved" people up in a postion than they actually finished. It was built to encourage people to join . It was the same exact way before. Now if the points were not right we received from the track, then that does need to be addressed. We did what was sent to us. I did send a letter out to all FASTRAK weekly sanctioned tracks last year as there was some confusion about how things were being done changing from the National Weekly points system to the 2012 top 3 in track points. I went so far in that letter to ask the track promoters at every track to please read the letter in the drivers meeting so everyone would understand. In addition to that we even went all the way to June 1st as a deadline to become a member because of the confusion. Question is was the letter read in the drivers meeting? This is the main reason we went to mandatroy membership in 2013 or a temporary membership. That way everyone is a member and we don't have these things pop up. No one wants people to think they were cheated. I don't want people to think we cheated them out of a penny. You would not belive when it comes time for the World Championship each year how many people call me and offer money, in some case pretty big money to come to the World Championships that have not qualified to come. I won't do that. Not for anyone. I do protect our teams. Even the track we held it at had a driver that didn't know he had to be a member and he actually finished in the top 3 at that very same track. I said Im sorry, but I wouldn't do that, never have, never will. It might be hard for some to believe but I operate FASTRAK with integrity. I get along great with most and even the ones that don't like me can' t say I have ever beat them out of anything. It just doesn't happen. I am found of Kyle and his dad. As a matter of fact I still wear his T-shirt as his dad gave me one when I was there once. Proudly so. I think they both know I don't beat people out of money. Never have, never will. Thats not how we built this company. I don't think we would have been in business going into our tenth year had we beat people everywhere we went. FASTRAK Corporate alone has paid $323,000 into the NE Region and we sure wouldn't mess that up for $500. I hope all of you that believe I am such a crook get to know me a little while I am up there a lot this year. I think you will find out I am not the monster some make me out to me. At least most of the time LOL. Kyle, if you will give me a buzz, I'll be more than happy to discuss this matter with you. I do appreciate you and your dad and sure don't want hard feelings. Thanks for your time; Stan Lester

This is a bad deal. Lukon racing should be paid first place $, and on down the line for MEMBERS! It was the mishandling of Multiple disqualification's and weekly rule changes that propelled that gang into that spot. The ufo points fund needs to be paid. Was the sizzler series $ paid as advertised???? Some dirty deals.........done dirt cheap! :D

So what's the point of WASTING $100 on membership fees when you'd win the money regardless!?! I can honestly say that I've never been screwed so many times in one year for $100!!! How can somebody win money from a sanctioning body in which they never paid into!?! Thank god RUSH is here. That's all I can say!!!

To be eligible for the grand nationals you had to be a member right ? Ignoring the issues with how the final points were derived wouldnt the correct Answer be to pay " the winner " minus the hundred dollar membership fee ? But anyone I'd be careful what you wish for with the rush thing , any business started in such a shady , back door manner has extremely questionable ethics at the top to begin with. And I don't have data in front of me but I'm
Pretty sure in the last 5 years max Blair took Way more money home from fastrack than anyone at any other rival promotion ...

If the driver who won the points is not a Fastrak Member... HE DOES NOT GET PAID.

However.. if 2nd place is a member... he recieves his $300 for 2nd place as he normally would.

That's all Stan is saying.

I don't believe you were "screwed" out of anything by Stan.. you didn't finish high enough in the track points to get any money from Fastrak. As far as the track points go.. I don't really have a dog in that fight.

Legend you are exactly right. The corporate office alone has paid $323,000 in the last 6 years into the NE Region. Plus I personally sponsored EVERY $5000 TO WIN RACE, in that area. I sponsored EVERY $10,000 TO WIN RACE in that region. I'm not sure what else people really want us to do.

Thanks everyone and no more time for this. None of the people that are complaining have even called. Pretty hard to read someones mind. I wouldn't have know about this had someone not called and let me know. Im too busy trying to make this series even better for our teams that are going to race w FASTRAK.

678-935-7304 for anyone that would like to discuss things.

I agree that the rush series came about Rather underhandedly, and would be very leery of what their business practices may entail. I wonder if there may be some legal ramifications under no compete type clauses of contracts with employees. I know it's tough times right now for everyone, but all these unpaid points funds and rule 'interpretations' should be a wake up call to all race teams. These point funds need to be paid. Correctly and in full to uphold the integrity of them, and those that follow! Choose carefully who you deal with, the racing business promoters are getting cutthroat....... for sure. KARMA will even the scores eventually..... as it did @ the pitsbooger. BUTTOUT! B)

Thinking about it further I see no issue with the winner not being paid because he wasn't a member , he had the opportunity to become a member but chose not
To. There should have been an iron clad no compete clause to prevent " rush " from doing what they did. Lets think about this for a second ... Why on earth would these tracks agree to jump ship like that unless it was in their personal best Intrest ?? Anyone who thinks tracks make decisions with the racer in mind needs to pull their head out of the sand . There's no way this newly formed sham is going to be able to afford to be better for the racers and better for the promoters . As usuall I predict the racers will " take the shaft" in this deal like they always do ...
