Still don't think you should be counting motordrome out yet, no one has said it is closed. No one is selling their cars, equipment or panicking that i have heard, as far as i know they are still working on their cars, so maybe the doubters of asphalt racing should just hold of till something is official. I just don't see this area with no asphalt racing, to many good racers and asphalt fans. I have faith someone or a group will step up, that's just my feeling.
Well said. Hold your cards, we might have a bingo.

Yeah, because a track that struggled to stay open when the economy was good is totally going to flourish when the economy is shit.

Do you ever think before you post?
Ever meet the guy that was promoting it??? That sums it up right there! Do you ever know what your talking about before you post???

I understand basic business. You, apparently, don't. All the tracks around now struggle to get full fields, and every track in the area except for Lernerville gets lackluster crowds for weekly shows and you think it's prime time for somebody to add another track to the mix? One that was never all that strong to begin with?
It boggles my mind how you can think this is a good idea. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised because the idiocy that comes out in your posts on a regular basis is par for the course here on ole' Racestud.

I think people are not counting Motordrome out yet, they are just praying and hoping that laskey is gone for good. Running the place the way he did and not paying the drivers just doesn't work. Not to mention the so called rule changes he wanted to put into place this year would only chase more people away.(something he is very good at). People just don't have the money to keep making all those changes year after year. And people are just fed up with the way he runs his so called rodeo.Still don't think you should be counting motordrome out yet, no one has said it is closed. Even if he did square up with everyone, would you trust him after what he did? I know a lot of people who won't be back if Stan is. He doesn't care about who he owes money to, he will just have that "I got the only game in town" attitude . The same attitude that drove a lot of people away already. If Stan runs Motordrome we will race at Erie rather then put up with Stans "It's my rodeo attitude" !! Lets ALL pray that someone else steps up to run Motordrome.Stan would have to have balls the size of grapefruits to start the season without squaring up with every racer and employee that he screwed over last year.

I personally dont run asphalt, but several of my friends do and I attend every friday. If its the only game in town im sure most will be back. But if I raced there I would make sure I got something back somehowEven if he did square up with everyone, would you trust him after what he did? I know a lot of people who won't be back if Stan is. Your deff wrong on that # of cars, they averaged 12-16 at their worst, but they did lack quality lates. Keith Barbara prob won 60-75% of the races he entered. I do miss the place though, the track sure was lighting fast, but a lawsuit waiting to happen though.
