Mc Running Fastrak crate late models this year - just added them.

So Marion Center will have Super Late Models, Steel Block/Limited Late Models, Crate Late Models, and 3/4 scale late models? Not to mention the street stocks, which most look like late models. Why not put the Super Late and Limited Late purses together and have a bonus for the top finishing limited late, maybe even another bonus if they win? I just don't see how 4 classes of late models will attract new fans.

There's not a ton of people who just go to the track with no connection to any drivers. Cars bring friends to the track. More cars is more ppl and what division would bring more then crates? Good move but I am not looking forward to the late nights I love Marion center but they take forever during cautions

I'm pretty sure the crates won a few races? It would be much harder to win a crate race at any track then a steel block race at mc. You must just be a wanna be super late then?

Without the crate lates filling out the steel block field I can't see the "open" sblm's lasting too long as a division.
They'll be lucky to have a 10 car field in the sblm's.

You are right on that one dirt, having three latemodel classes isnt gonna work, should of did what dog did and combine steelblock with supers.

Wow Tyler!! You really should think before you type or even speak sometimes. The comment you replied to was idiotic and disprespectul to the crate cars but your response to that said comment was even more idiotic and disrespectful to the whole steel block class. The steel block class at MC is very competitive, as well as the fastrak/crate class, and their's a lot of respected drivers' in both classes. The steel block/limited lates put on a good show every week with numerous winners (some have been crate lates). With that being said, I think it's a good move on MC's part having both the cratae late model and steel block/limited late class plus the super lates because it will bring in more cars and spectators also.
