Very valid points indeed. The only thing I would like to add is that we are not the only track that the purses have stayed pretty level at. It's a sign of the current situation in our economy. Our costs to operate have risen quite a bit over the years also but the profit margin doesn't climb with it. Yes we are doing much better on attendance and car count and we thank you very much for that. The decision to go with transponders wasn't made simply because we could pass a cost along to the teams. WRP still have a cost involved in running this system. We have to buy a decoder, laptop, software, cabling and training classes which all pile up to a chunk of change. Our decision was based on the limited number of manula scorers out there and the inaccuracies based on visual contact of Non Wing Sprinters. If you've ever tried to score 20-22 Non Wing cars with about 6 of them being a lap down mixed in traffic I'm sure you would fully understand. Transponders for us will help to speed up line ups and accuracy. Like I said we are not passing the cost along to the racer, we are spending quite a bit ourselves but are more than willing to do it in order to give the racers better accuracy and the fans a better show. Dan, I understand your point quite well, But the part of the purses staying the same like the other track I can't crasp that one. Reason why! The only other track that runs the system is Eldora. And your payout is far behind that tracks purse. I know WRP don't have the resorces of the Big E. Keep up the good work the track has came along tremendous from when it started years ago. Good luck to all teams this year.

Thank you Tim and best of luck to Brad and Jordan this season. We will continue to work on purse structure. Most of it depends on sponsorship and we have been working the beat really hard to bring everyone some great race supportes this season. It's a tough market but we keep trying. Please make sure to thank anyone you see supporting a local track. I know I thank any business that I see on a racecar when I visit that business. It means alot to our sport and networking is key to survival.
