What was with the crap of letting him drive around the track to rescale. he drove through the mud trying to gain weight and was still light. Any other driver would not have been givin that chance. If that had been bolland everyone would be having a sh*t fit.

At least they spared the ultimate humiliation for Swartzlander by not letting him do the victory lane interview/pictures and trophy presentation and then announcing he was light later on.

Ass kissing bitch? You don't know the Swartzlander's at all, do you?

I have no idea how many BBM starts Swartzlander has at the area tracks over the last 20 odd years, but this is the first time I can recall his ever having been DQ'd for anything. He was light, he got busted, it happens.

The BB Mod division has always been a rough and tumble division. You must be a Bolland fan, talk about sore losers. Swartzlander doesn't need anyone to kiss his ass, he is one of the most talented drivers in that division and has been for a long time. Jealous much??

I'm thinking somebody f*cked up the fuel weight calculation. It happens all the time.

I'm not taking any sides, blaming anyone, or anything like that. What I will say is, if he missed by what the word is he missed by, this wasn't a fuel miscalculation. What I will say is our car was around 50 pounds over what we weigh in the garage due to all of the mud you pick up through the night. They changed the weight rule for the big small blocks in the off season. They now have to weigh 2575. Brian was supposedly 25 pounds light. So if you take that off plus the 50 pounds they probably picked up he's at 2500. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what happened. They weighed exactly what they wanted to weigh, they just got called on it.

Just another piece of info, fuel weighs around 6 pounds per gallon, they didn't miss by 4 gallons. If they did, they need to speak with Mr. Enders about their fuel consumption, because something isn't right.

Racing fuel actually weighs closer to 7 pounds a gallon in my experience.

I was just thinking that they didn't put enough fuel in the car.

It's like 6.4 or so I believe, maybe 6.6. I don't remember the exact weight, but its 6-7 pounds. But no, they thought they'd get away with one and didn't. Oh well, move on to the next one.

I always try to stay out of conversations about our team on message boards, but I feel like I owe it to our team to explain what happened on Friday. We were fully aware what we needed to weigh with the car that we run, and it was my responsibility to calculate fuel and add it for the race. Because of the excess clay on the car in the heat race, we were over weight by about 30 pounds. I completely underestimated how dry the track was for the feature and failed to add enough fuel. By our calculations, we were about 3 gallons short. There was no attempt to fool anyone, it was just a very bad miscalculation on my part. I am not used to being that close on weight and it definately was a lesson that I won't soon forget. I apologize to everyone that comes to the race track to support our team. It was embarassing and disappointing to say the least, and I hope that it never happens again. I especially feel bad for my dad who drove a great race to end up in the front at the end, only to have it taken away because of my mistake. Either way the end result was fair, and Matt Williamson drove a good clean race and deserves the win.

And you take back and apologize for... :

...and admit to being completely wrong?

If at first you don't succeed, then maybe you just suck.
