A "big smallblock" is under 467 cid it is legal therfore it is dirt legal
No, it isn't, and hasn't been since the mid 90's, when the old DIRT run by Glenn Donnelly made them illegal in an effort to keep costs in check. After WRG bought DIRT, they never changed it. The rule states that any car with a small block must conform to DIRT's 358 rules, which doesn't allow for big small blocks.
I do find it hard to believe that Brian is running a big small block, though. He runs Enders motors and Kevin Enders works closely with DIRT on their modified engine rules because he is one of the premier engine builders for the division. I wouldn't think Kevin would even build a motor he knows is illegal at the track the guy intends on running it at.

They don't deny it being a big small block at all. I believe they had it built due to the growing amount of other ones showing up around here. No, it isn't, and hasn't been since the mid 90's, when the old DIRT run by Glenn Donnelly made them illegal in an effort to keep costs in check. I believe you, I'm just surprised Enders even built one knowing it was going to be running DIRT sanctioned tracks. I'd have to believe that the Swartzlander team has a legal 467 in the shop, though, because he does occasionally run SDS races and they actually pump them to check at those races, especially at Syracuse.

That's what's silly. The first few races of the season at any track generally have some of the heavier tracks. One would think they should be able to hook up a true big block without much issue.

They are getting nearly as much hp out of the big small blocks as the big blocks. And the cars handle much better with the small block as opposed to the big block with the weight off of the front end. That's what's silly. The newer Troyers are generally way happier with small blocks in them anyways, so I guess there's that to consider too.

Nope, just someone who isn't afraid to voice my opinions and put a face to it. Unlike a coward like yourself that'll flap his gums anonomously. Someones opinion doesn't carry much weight if they are too worried about the consequences of what they say to put a name and face to it.mustbe a real tuff guy...Oooo im shaking in my chuck taylors

Like I said, coward. And that's not me trying to pick a fight, just putting it out there that I don't mind people coming down and carrying on a conversation about the things I say on here. In all of the years I've said to come down, not one has actually showed up.Ok Ok fine... my name is Peter Goesinya
