Raceace,we started putting in another section and will not be completed until next week.More time was put into other improvements such as more lighting in turn 1,filling in the drainage dicthes with terra cotta pipe and dirt(Jeffs big idea with the drainage ditches did not work) marking and elevating the ramp for the scales so they can be seen by the drivers easier and making about a dozen other changes.

Don't worry Chuck, I'll be sitting in my lawn chair this weekend. I think its more comfortable than the wood bleachers anyway. ;)

I would say 12-15 each...they said the sprint count is lite cause this is unsanctioned

Yea....hoffner wins alright.......slamming his way through people to get to the front. Typical hoffner fashion.Same old shit from him no matter where he races. He's nothing more than a medium sized fish in a barrel of minnows.

That place has a LONG LONG way to go to ever amount to anything. It may make a nice micro sprint track or a glorified go kart track, way to small and slow for full sized cars with any amount of speed.

Back to the Bird for me.

only thing i wanna say and the normal goons and haters can say what they will but if you seriously think the mods wouldn't draw anymore at this place you are so wrong. i have overheard so many people saying about how its a shame they are no longer there anymore the last 2 weeks...and i can guarantee they would bring more than 7 cars...

If you can guarantee it, put up the money for the purse and bring them in...

I was really surprised that only 7 sprints showed up, until you said that it wasn't a sanctioned event. If the event wasn't sanctioned by Racesaver then it makes a little more sense. This is the rule that the PASS series uses: RACESAVER® sealed engines that participate in, so called, "305" events, that are not specifically sanctioned by RACESAVER®, must be re-teched prior to competing in subsequent RACESAVER® events. Don't know if that played into the low car count or not. I wasn't able to make it tonight, but I wasn't expecting a field of 20+ sprints. I guessed 15 tops. I also don't know what the payout was for the sprints tonight, but the 305 payouts are very high. I think Path Valley had a PASS event tonight, so if the payouts were comparable, teams may have stayed closer to home.

I think 15 lates and 15 street stocks is a good turnout, considering you have 2 tracks running within 25 miles of each other. I enjoyed my night of racing over there, good action in the lates and street stocks, I don't know why your bitchin so much but hey don't let the gate hit you in the azz on the way out. <_< I only see a few things that needs improving, 1 they need a faster or better tow truck guy to clear the track and 2nd you need speakers on the turn 4 side, a lot of people were siting over there and many said they couldn't hear the announcer. I'm sure they know they have a ways to go but if they get better every week with the improvements, that's all you can ask for. ;)

someone said big wreck at dog hollow took out 4 or 5 sprints that were planned to be there. check the tape the 15 and 00 fighting for the same spot and the 15 won. sounds like short track racing to me. ask dylcris thats what he said last week with the street stock race. sounds like what goes around comes around short track racing to me. good job Mr.Taylor and crew keep up the good work, have been hearing guys say they are coming lets hope couple more cars each class would be nice.
