Matt or Marcie- a few travelers asked how they can buy a copy of the DVD- can you buy one other than in the snack bar and have it shipped?

If so, can you share the info?

C&B Videos does the DVDs for each event.

If anyone is interested in a copy please e-mail me your name and address at Marcie@ppms.com and I will get the dvds this Saturday and then mail them out to you the following Monday. The cost of each dvd is $10.00.

Thanks!!

I thought it was a little bit of a crock to see they were charging $35.00 pit admission. As much effort as you put into this program to raise ALL of the money yourself and to have the Mileys try to take advantage of it by charging EVERYONE an extra $5.00-$10.00 was bullshit. I came for you and your father and because the stocks have the best racing around. God Bless Mr. Laboon. Great work last Saturday.

The $35 is what the Miley's normally charge for the Late Model Sportsman Showdown races at $700 to win. That covers their purse for 32 cars plus any tow or DNQ money. I then raised over $4,100, plus the contingency prizes, trophies and the fake check for the race personally which was added to the existing payout. Which means we paid out $8,575 Saturday night to the Stock drivers, plus the contingency stuff. With no entry fees. The Miley's did not take advantage of anything here, but I appreciate your support. If I can raise, say $5,000 next year, I'd pay out even better. Like anything in racing, it all comes down to the sponsors! Vince

Last season everyone complained that normal pits were 25 but they always found a reason to charge 30 or 35 lol so they raised regular to 30 and always find a reason to go 35 ... Lol .... There's normally 8 cadets .... The huge turn out was only due to the extra money.

Wait. So Miley's themselves did put in money into your overall purse? I thought the cash was raised solely by YOUR efforts...? If not, then I apologize

Correct and no worries. Basically I piggy backed off of the regularly scheduled LMS showdown series' payout. I then paid the difference. For instance $700 to win became $2000 so I personally raised that $1300 right there and so on. Miley's keep the gate for their portion I just raise my part via donations and sponorships.

Glad to see you get some face time Vince. Much deserved after all you have done for your fathers race. I'm sure he is smiling ear to ear for all the effort you have put forth. Hopefully we will see the weekly car count grow.

Thanks for the kind words! The pace lap 4 wide then seeing 33 cars take the green and go 5 laps without a caution was awesome. I appreciate the support. Looking forward to next year already too!

There were a couple long cautions and some, expected a Loooong race .BUT ! Those guys raced into turn one blind for many laps WITHOUT a caution ! GREAT RACE ! Rusty martz made it real interesting sneaking up at the end After Weldon got the lead from JB, who was the class of the field and looked like a Mod on rails ! great job to Jeff and company !who credited " Chris Schnieder for setting up the car on Wednesday ". .. Only needed to stay to watch a friend run in the Crates ! .. $15 worth by 10:15 !

Vince's phone should be ringing off the hook with tracks looking for a promoter! Lol. But seriously, I have never seen such effort by an individual to put together an amazing show. Anyone who has a hand in local stock car racing should be extremely proud to be a part of this race. Looking forward to next year!

Thanks buddy! You should have seen me up at 7 am pacing, looking at all the different weather sites and future cast and Sunday's if we had a raindate. Thank God it stayed dry or I would have had a panic attack LOL. I can't wait for next year as well.
