Hey everyone! It's finally almost here- the 2nd Annual Ed Laboon Memorial Race on June 1st. Please let me know of any questions leading up to the event. I'll be announcing the $100 hard charger and $100 hard luck sponsors soon. Imperial Heights Garage will be offering contingency prizes again. I also will have a large 2 tier trophy compliments of 3K Enterprises Inc. A sincere thanks to all of the sponsors and everyone who has helped me make this a reality. if you want to add anything to the event there is still time, just let me know! So who's coming? I have heard Rusty Martz, Colton Gearhart, Kyle Shannon, Bob Schwartzmiller, Tim Burns, Bryan Wagner, Jamie Duncan and Fuzzy Fields, in addition to Simmons, Weldon, Kocuba, Hutchko and all the PPMS guys. Vince

After watching this past week I think it is gonna be one hell of a show. Be hard to pick a winner in this field of cars!

Cool! I know Mercer is not running stock cars that night so hopefully he comes, and Sharon has graciously made their race a non points night so their guys can travel if they want.

I talked to Rusty on Saturday at Mercer and he is coming, many more are supposed to also but not for me to say. Going to be one heck of a stock show if everyone shows that's supposed to.

Tune up for the $2000 to won Ed Laboon event this Sat May 25! The Sportsman run a regular 15 lap $300 to win, $50 to start event. Any type of Hoosier 55 or 1600 may be used weekly including the new RUSH series 55, so there are lots of used tires with all 3 divisions running the same tires, supers, crates, and sportsman.

Awesome job working together guys. Definitely need to have more of this in the racing community these days. But it shows signs of hope. Great job by all

I just wanted to clarify 2 rules: if you run a 2 barrel carb (not a 3310) that doesn't mean you need to weigh 3200#. The rule is any 4 barrel carb that is not a 3310 the car must weigh 3200#. Next if you do not run a 10" back panel you will be assessed a 50# weight penalty. The back of the car does not need to be completely closed in. Just a 10" panel between the quarters. Let me know of any additional questions. Thanks.

Yes if you're a crate, 358 or open motor you are required the back panel. I think that's what you're asking.
