Lol how the hell do u even compare a 410 to a 305. My motor cost $8000 complete. Thats not even close to $40,000 to $50,000 to a 410.
If you would read my post and UNDERSTAND it, I wrote that you could have a really nice 410 for close to what you have in your 305. I didnt say for the same money. But you would rather race for $275. Thats fine just stating facts.
Sprintcar3z wrote You miss understand the rule. We can and have ran with 410s and 360s with our sealed racesaver 305's. Where the rule comes into play is racing with other non-sanctioned 305s.
Not true. Southern racesaver cars were invited to run a 2 day show in Georgia against 360's last October paying $1200 to win. French called everyone and told them that they were not allowed to race that show. When french was at Precise racing products the question arose about about running a racesaver motor against the 410's if in an event that a persons 410 motor was out of service for basically points, he responded with an answer of No.
Listen guys dont go and get all ticked off at all this. I think his whole comcept is great! But his one rule! I wish a lot of other tracks were as firm as he is on his rules. I commend the guy in the way he hasnt changed his engine package. I'm NOT putting down the class at all. Read my post at least twice before responding it might make more sense the second time around!
Good luck racing this to all!

Another of French's concepts was that the winner not receive more than twice the amount of the 24th starter. I wasn't in Georgia and need you to tell me that the last starter received $600. So if there were 24 cars and the rest received $600, the minimum purse would have been $15,000. My belief after 53 years of racing is that probably didn't happen in Georgia. Currently in North Carolina my understanding is the Racesavers pay the winner $400, second gets $300, and the rest get $200. Last week they had 11 cars at East Lincoln. The car count has increased since last year. They have races at East Lincoln, Friendship, Carolina, Travelers Rest(SC) and I-77(SC). It would be great to see them double the car count and double the number of tracks. Please keep us informed of all the 305 races paying $600 to start. And we'll even be happy watching you win the $1200 again. But only if we're counting our $600. In fact, we hope you win $2000. Our $1000 will dry the tears. If you would read my post and UNDERSTAND it, I wrote that you could have a really nice 410 for close to what you have in your 305. I didnt say for the same money.
