hey, i got thick skin, as i've never been in any fight at a racetrack either......over any situation in 17 years of racing. and i've been in worse situations than just getting beat...in order to fight. the kid is fast their, his comments were not needed......If the speech was the problem......maybe you should have mentioned that in your rant about "puffed up chests" and "starting on the pole weekly". Sure sounds like bashing to me. Just suck it up man......you might win another one. As for the speech, which part was wrong, or upsetting to you? Was there not a guy dressed in fluorescent clothes and gloves jumping up and down like a monkey? Or was it the geezer part? Jeesh.....you better have thicker skin than that if you're gonna succeed in racing Scott.

What you are failing to understand is, there is no room to clear somebody. Even if you're way faster you can't get by because there just isn't any room on the bottom and if you go above the hump you're going to the fence. The only way to clear someone is to hope they get over the hump and lose grip.I think what will fix the problem is if they make the track shorter so there is no room for the crates to get spread out. How bout make it like a corn field so the cars are getting beatup. My point is Rad is that you all said that the crates would put everyone on the same page as far as cars, its all about the drivers. Well if my car is as fast as yours and I drive the same way, then I will never be able to pass you. If you cant pass then maybe you have to think out side of the box the you are in and try something new. Try and make your car better than the others dont just follow the leader. If you cant get it don't blame anyone or anything, just go and rethink what you have done. Thats what made the sport that we all love, Men that think out side the box.

People who aren't involved wouldnt understand . Having a fast car and getting stuck behind someone happens all the time . I can see how impassable conditions and bullshit inverts would drive cars from the track ...What you are failing to understand is, there is no room to clear somebody. Even if you're way faster you can't get by because there just isn't any room on the bottom and if you go above the hump you're going to the fence. No less mature than someone else admitting to wrecking a guy in his victory lane speech two weeks prior.......
And when a guy does a wardrobe change and heads out to give hand signals to a driver, then jumps up and down waving and flailing his arms....sounds kinda like a monkey to me.....just sayin.

he didn't say that. he said he'll drive a person the way he drives him. meaning he got ran over before.....No less mature than someone else admitting to wrecking a guy in his victory lane speech two weeks prior.......

That is exactly what he said. But when questioned, he couldn't come up with a time nor place that HE was raced like that.......Ask the guy from the Tribune what happened next!

So meaning "he got ran over before" is not an admission of running someone over? Please explain that to me......

totally understand........when your 16, everyone else in the field is an old geezer...your running good man..I would like to set the record straight about my comments Saturday night. After winning the feature against some of the best drivers in the area, I was wound up and the adrenaline was flowing. The geezer comment was intended for one competitor who I have a running age joke with. I guess I should have been more clear about that . If you weren't in on that joke then I am sure geezers sounds bad. As for the monkey comment, there was an individual signaling from the back stretch and he was very animated and I just thought it was funny. Monkey was not the best choice of words although I meant no disrespect ...I just thought it was funny and I was chuckling when I said it. Things look way worse in print than you would imagine as you say them. I regret that this has gotten so far out of hand. I should have chosen my words more carefully.
