wrecking, and running over are two different things in my book. tow trucks are needed for wrecking.... getting moved is ran over..anyway, not my fight. So meaning "he got ran over before" is not an admission of running someone over? Please explain that to me......

mr. wilson, i wouldn't go beating my chest how great you are racing this track......saw you at 7 hit every car on the track, and get chased to the pits by a driver on foot. you've started 3rd or better every week dude, and on the pole 3 times....one trick pony....
totally understand........when your 16, everyone else in the field is an old geezer...your running good man..
So where exactly do you stand on this? It's best to just talk out one side of your mouth. No one had the balls to ask the kid what the heck he was talking about. You just started posting crap like the above quote. Seems like the "adults" racing in this class are way more immature than the young'uns. You used to be able to walk up to a guy in the pits and say "what the heck was that?" You'd give him a chance to explain himself. Now it's best to just wreck him the following week or bash him on the Racestuds.

never touched the kid racing. matt keeps his nose clean. we didn't get in any fight and get kicked out either......so much for talking it out, huh?So where exactly do you stand on this? Thank you for the explanation......I guess I miss spoke. He didn't admit to wrecking him....he admitted to running over him over.
Problem with that, IMHO, when you're that entrenched with the management of the speedway and the division sponsor, you should be held to a HIGHER STANDARD....not a different set of rules.

Well, if you get the real story about what happened, you'll scratch you head at all the politics involved in that deal! You should call the guy at the TRIB and ask him what HE saw.

hey, in this sport, you got more lows than highs. i've said the wrong things many times, and regretted them the next day. i man up to them when i'm wrong. the kids comments steered me wrong, and i said my peace. yea, it was wrong. but at the time, it wasn't. i love this sport, as it takes a toll on everyone, at some point.yes, our season has sucked this year at sharon, we are all down. we have drawn 55,53,66,66,5,37, 47 at this track and can't pass in the heats at all. the one race up front, we won our heat and got a ten invert, which i haven't heard since or before there. it sucks, but we are darn sure trying. the kid seemed to be rubbing it in to all of us, and it didn't set good. i understand, and am over it. and seeing the kid starting in the top three every race, then at the time seemed like bragging, ticked me off. we at this point would have killed for his starting positions. and most of it is pill draw, and invert, not heats. i don't think they are out to get you with those positions....i've never seen anything unfair down there, you just know a pill kills your night. so yes, people get jealous, pissed, whatever you want to call it from time to time. but the bragging at the time didn't sit to good, when you've had it good most of this year. have a good one, enough from me....Well, if you get the real story about what happened, you'll scratch you head at all the politics involved in that deal! You should call the guy at the TRIB and ask him what HE saw.

that again, is not my fight.Yeah, that's not what I'm talking about at all. I'm not talking about bad luck drawing pills or not being able to pass someone. I'm talking about the politics of who chose to see what and when.

Maybe not this time, but being a competitor in this division, do you want a guy having a different set of rules to play by than you do? Too much conflict of interest involved IMO.

I watched the video of the 9 and 27 incident. From the video what I could see was that incidental contact was made coming out of turn 4. Entering turn 1 contact was again made by the 9. Knowing some of the story behind the scenes.. and the history of the 27 from weeks previous.. I made the conclusion that the contact in turn 1 was acceptable. The 9 rubbed him... he did not wreck him... he did not spin him out. The 9 car was racing for the win and raced the 27 with the same amount of respect that the 27 has displayed for other drivers in previous weeks. The situation was then handled in an EXTREMELY POOR manor by the 27 crew. The actions on the track that I saw should not have provoked anything more than a man-to-man discussion in the pits afterwards.
The comments made by Mr. Wilson in victory lane... Regardless of what he says on here after the fact... Were definitely directed towards the 9 and crew. I for one, have lost a ton of respect for the 27 due to his comments after the race. It was a weekly show with 11 cars in attendance... I can understand that it was the heat of the moment after a victory.. but he should have enough maturity and self control to keep ridiculous comments like that to himself.
I don't have a dog in this particular fight.. but I am familiar with a lot of the teams involved in this whole deal... and I can tell you for sure that the 27 is not making any friends over this. If the victory lane tantrum happened with a different crew... results could have been far worse than what they were with the 9 team.

Has the 27 raced the 9 the way the 9 raced the 27 that night?
Wow. Did you lose any respect for the 9 for his comments in victory lane? I don't have a dog in this fight either. And I'm familiar with the teams also. I even had my eyes on the "previous weeks" incidents. Didn't even involve the 9. So why does he have to "race people the way they race ME?" It wasn't even him in the incident. AND good aggressive driving was all that was. No wreckers, didn't wreck him, didn't spin him out. He rubbed him....period. I watched it with my own two eyes from turn 4 on the restart. Contact yes....but according to you, that's cool. ESPECIALLY when Eric had a guy leaning on his LR quarter panel.
And whether you choose to believe Eric's comments or not is your prerogative. I have talked with him and I know what he meant. I think it's cool he decided to try to clear up any hard feelings while we, the ones who don't have anything to do with it at all, just keep spouting off our opinions.
I'd like to know how the 27 crew "handled it poorly?" ONE guy went over to ask a question and "GET HIM OUTTA HERE" is what was said. Then two guys from the 9 crew, one being a division sponsor, laid hands on the 27 crew member. So WHO DID WHAT WRONG there? Exactly. It's who you know and who you are over there. What ever discipline was handed out to the 27 for doing NOTHING wrong also should have been handed out to the 9 and his crew too. PERIOD.

So what you are saying is the 9 car "rubbed" 27 as a pay back for some other team? How is that right in your eyes? Did the 27 SPIN anyone? The sitaution in poor manner has been paid in full with their suspension. The comment made by 9 was ok with you after he "rubbed" the 27? Where was the maturity and self control? What comment offened you? The only old gesser was the 71 car, I dont see him on here bitching and whinning. The kid already said that he should have worded things different. What more do you want? Should the 9 team have not said what he did a few weeks prior? I'm sure that it was not the action on the track that angered team 27 but it was the comment that was made on the track by team 9. I'm sure that a ton of respect has been lost for the 9 team also. Why do you and Rad feel the need to spread all your hate on here? I dont see team 9 or 27 slinging their shit at each other. If they dont have a problem.... why do you two? Get over it like they already have.I watched the video of the 9 and 27 incident.
