With over $30,000 up for grabs I highly doubt weather will be much of a deterrent ....the weather will scare some away

Mike marlar said he we be there pending weather. So yes it will scare people away who travel when they can stay close to home and still find food paying events.

Moyer, really? I would be surprised if he came - it would be the first time since the inaugural Firecracker I think. He doesn't have his schedule updated past last weekend. I figure if anything, he'd be at the SN with his son.

I suppose it could affect a few guys who were already on the fence about going. Really though, with 3 nights and a track that has the drainage and equipment to get it back into shape and go racing, it shouldn't affect too many.

It won't be the first or last time it rains during the Firecracker. It will probably keep some racers away, but I am prepared for some seriously late nights and some seriously heavy tracks.

Saturday ig going to be very nice day but Thursday and Friday look bad with Thunder Storms on Thursday and Potential T-Storm on Friday.
Saturday Partly Cloudy and no Thunder Storms and on Sunday Potential T-Storm.
If they have to race on Saturday onley. They better not mess around what they doing and move the started time at 1.00 pm. so they could run TIME TRIALS then all the Heat Race's , B-mains, Uncle Sam 30 and the A-main. ALL IN ONE DAY.

Ahhh the weather,its gonna rain no getting around that but I'm pretty sure they will race Sunday if need be. All the hype about big name drivers now not gonna show because of rain....I truly hope a local boy takes it along with the uncle Sam. If the "stars" are worried about some rain and turning down $30k the hell with them still gonna be a hell of a racing weekend with or without them ill be there bright n early tomorrow getting my camp site ready for the festivities.....good luck to all and hammer down
