------really not sure what your question is----

What is the fuel this press release is referring to? Is that clear enough?

any fuel that has been blended with propylene, nitro methane, nitro propane, methanol and there are a couple of new ones that will also throw the specific gravity on the high side and spike the gauge on other test instruments

the cost is a combination of the base fuel and then the addition of the performance enhancing additives

that is what the press release is referring to.

Why not make.it pump gas only and be done with it all? This series is to keep racing cheap.

Probably has something to do with the quality of pump gas being all over the place. It's very inconsistant from area to area.

a spec fuel is a better option and here is why------------

"pump gas" is very inconsistant and is purposely blended differently in different areas-------which would make it very easy to duplicate with added power enhancing chemicals

the FASTRAK specific gravity rule that was implemented for the first time in 2013 was set at the high side using the 750 number because of pump gas-----

we would like the rule to be in the 740 range but that would land many pump gas competitors on the wrong side of the line

there are some options but in the end if you can't enforce it what good is it and it would be really hard to tech pump gas

hope that helps

Brad

I understand. So more or less u need to have a crate only fuel thenthat cost the same as high octane gas.

Thanks for the clarification!

It usually takes someone being made an example of, and the public humiliation that results, to get the message across loud and clean.
