How do you let people pay 15 bucks to get in knowing there are only 7 cars in the pits? At least let people know before they pay to get in. This may be the worst I've ever felt about going to a race.. Words can not describe how ripped off I feel right now.

Your point? They are racing now and they are gonna beat the rain. The funniest part of this is the guy they were advertising, Ryan Blaney, didn't have his ride show up. So he's not racing. Not that that's why I'm here, but its just wrong. They should just call it and let us use our rain checks at a later date.
Edit: I forgot the 2 barrel emods are here. We might get lucky and catch some rain.

And let me just say this, there is nothing a track can do about cars not showing up. I understand that. And I don't know what to tell them to do, but christ, do something. Don't let me pay my money, whether its 5 or 50 dollars doesn't matter, for a show that isn't a complete show without at least warning me. I got here at 630 and there is no reason they couldn't have told people coming in at that point that no Late Models showed up.Checked the radar, and it looks like they should be able to get it in.

7 Late Models. There's 21 or so Emods, but I didn't come for Emods.7 late models? 7 uems mods?....either way ouch!!!!!

They should have cancelled the event earlier today based on the weather that is coming in. Then everyone could b!tch about they cancelling too earlier. These storms coming in are potentially dangerous. Everyone needs to get home and be safe.

crates are not allowed with ulms. chris better get on a 525 crate motor program, or lm's are doomed....you gotta cheapen the cost,period.. sharon is an emod track for sure, always good racing in that division....

Part of Sharon's problem is they don't run the lates on a regular basis, so they don't have a built in field. They have to count on other tracks cars to fill out the field, no matter what sanction shows up. Back in the mid 90's Sharon had a two day STARS show on a Friday/Saturday. They ended up cancelling it when they had a small field on Saturday. The cars they expected to fill out the field from other tracks didn't show, they stayed at there home tracks. With the four day Memorial Day tour to the south and McKean's Two day show, I'd say a lot of guys are saving there cars for that.

well, it is just a decline in cars, period. couple of weeks ago around stateline had 28 for 10,000, mckean 25 for 7,500, and eriez 12 for 2,900. that in lm country.....nobody up there seems to want address a problem. but 3,000 - 4,000 races are going to disappear.

The Firecracker is coming up in a couple of weeks and Wayne County, PPMS and WV Motor Speedway have LM specials this weekend as well so that may also have something to do with the low car count. Seems like more teams are just racing one night a week rather than two or three, etc. Perhaps that cost of fuel to travel, the face that crew members, children, etc. have other activities going on may also play a part. Its a hobby and an expensive hobby at that so maybe mid week shows etc. will become more rare.
