He was moved up because on a complete restart the row moves up instead of lining everyone back up. Someone in front of him in line dropped out which moved his row up. Everyone behind him in the row also gained the spots.Sure was a great performance by Greg......but did anybody notice how they moved him up 2 positions on lap ZERO under yellow in his evening heat race?...he had passed those two cars but it was on a lap that did not count!!!..there was, I believe, three cautions before lap one was complete.
It's kind of a moot point because I feel he would've passed those cars anyway, and he is NOT at fault but this is the same stuff that would happen to Lynch Jr. during WOO races.

Yeah, I've always liked Dave Hess, Jr. Liked watching his old man run, too. But, what happened there Saturday was a total bullshit move. I guess he figured it was okay to try and pull it off since Ferree had a guaranteed starting spot. A move like that is never okay as far as I'm concerned. I think Alex was too busted up to try and run the distance, as he pretty much just took the green and headed in.
Boom is a tool, pure and simple.....and Saturday wasn't the first time he has roughed up Gregg Satterlee.
I thought the track was great. It was the wet conditions that sort of convinced me to go.
When there is a cushion, T-Mac is always fun to watch.

Yes you thought it was a great track! If you like seeing 10 cars finish then it was. But I'm sure if you asked anyone other then Richards about track conditions they would disagree with you. Lots of torn up cars and blown motors maybe if you funded a car you would feel differently.

As a fan, I don't know how you didn't enjoy that race.. As far as the race teams.. that's a different story.

The speeds of that evening program were awesome. I remember when I first started going to Lernerville in the 90's the cushion and speeds and the unfortunate carnage helped draw me in.
The day race was a terrible train race which was the most boring race I have ever seen. I'm glad they reworked the track and the rain came to make it as it was.
Back on topic Gregg did a good job and came back from his flat mid race. Kudos to him and his team.

Alex got taken out on Thursday too, by Jonathon Davenport. He was damn fast the whole weekend, but kept running into a bunch of dudes who plum ran out of talent.
