It's all about perspective I guess. For some families, a trip to the amusement park might be viewed as their vacation for the summer. I doubt the same family is going to view going to the races one time as their vacation.

For others, a trip to the amusement park might be an every other week occurrence, just like going to the races every week or so, for another family.

Exactly! People have to decide what to spend their hard earned money on. The sprint show was originally supposed to be on July 3rd, but Mother Nature had other plans. It's great that Jeff is still holding the event and keeping it at $12. I'm planning to attend both nights.

$12 for a 410 sprint show is a bargain in my opinion, and I'm really looking forward to this show! For sprint car fans in this area, it isn't very often we get a 410 sprint show this close to home. I've been to AMP a couple times this season, and I've really enjoyed the shows, and have been really impressed with all the improvements that continue to be made by Jeff and his crew! The place is really starting to come together, and I hope this sprint show is just another successful step on the way to bringing the place to it's full potential. Putting up a decent purse for a division that doesn't have a lot of local team support is a gamble, but I'm glad that Jeff and AMP are willing to take the chance, and I hope they get a great turnout on both sides of the catch fence!!! I totally understand the concerns about back to back nights of racing and the current economy. For me though, it is an easy choice. Bring on the wings!!!

Any body from AMP have an educated estimate on how many 410's are expected? I am thinking of coming but don't want to if they end up with 6 or 8 sprinters.
