I Seen pictures of Austin Hubbards Late Model. After accident at PPMS. And it was destroyed. He has bad concussion out racing for few weeks. Seen a post from him he says he was wrecked intentionally while under the caution ??? Did anyone actually see what Happened??

Is having your front end pointed toward the pit area one second then the grandstands the next second and violently switching back and forth between the 2 intentional or just massively out of control ??

I highly doubt anyone would take out Austin on purpose on the first lap when he started way in mid pack at best.

First off the doctors said they want him not to race for one more week, and go from their on condition. Second, I highly doubt anyone would take out Austin on purpose on the first lap when he started way in mid pack at best.

I don't have a dog in this fight and only saw the impact.

When I talked to Hubbard's crew they felt the 7m helped him get out of control.

I would guess that is what his post is concerning.

Like I said though I didn't see it, not sure how it happened but that car was really bad and he's luck he only got a concussion.

If that's what they think, I'd hate to see Austin come to the Pittsburgher looking to take Davis out. That could get Macy Gray ugly.

I would hope he would take the high road.

I heard people state what Hodgkiss did, in that he was out of control on the back stretch.

Just stated what his crew guy told me.

Here's exactly what happened: Austin was on low side and Michael running the middle coming out of 2 as the caution came out for Gasser getting into the wall. Austin lifted since the caution was out and Michael kept racing and drove right into the right rear and spun Austin around and into the uke tires. After the race Michael wouldn't even say a word to the crew. You would think he'd at least apologize for trashing a car because he was trying to win the race under caution on the 1st lap....

Cars often get wrecked during cautions, especially when the cars are all bunched together, when one driver reacts more quickly to the yellow than the other. I highly doubt Davis was trying to win the race on the first lap. He has never been an overly rough or aggressive driver during his racing career. Unfortunately for Mr. Hubbard, the incident happened at a very dangerous part on the racetrack. After the #11 crew threw the hood of their car at the #7 on the racetrack, it was probably better that Davis avoided their pit.

The last sentence is not even close to fact. You being in the pits would be more of a fact than what you stated. The hood was NEVER EVER thrown at the 7m, it was PLACED against the side of the hauler during the feature. Also, they were parked beside each other basically(Satterlee was parked between them).

I've seen the way Michael drives and sometimes it's over his head, but when the caution comes out in turn 2 and you don't lift until your in turn 3, you aren't paying attention. Again, 90% of you didn't see the accident as you all were watching Gasser hit the wall as usual. So you have no say as to what happened.

O the hood was flung over at the 7 after the race cause we were all lol looking right at them and mike did not even look at the crew. We watched from top of our trailer looking right at the 7 trailer. We didn't no what happen cause yes we were watching the 0 car.

Wasn't there, don't know what happened, but I fail to see the logic behind putting those types of tires around the inside of any race track. I'm guessing these tires probably weigh more than any of the race cars. I've seen quite a few cars destroyed over the years because of someone's brilliant idea. If the logic is to protect those in the infield, then put a second guardrail around, similar to a safer barrier. If the intent is to keep cars from running "below the line", then use car tires, buried around the inside to mark the track. Its hard enough sometimes to see your competitors out there, let alone try to dodge some huge, semi-immovable object. Just sayin.
