What an intelligent set of rules; if you are light crossing the scales you get a season long point removal on the second occurrence, so if you are in an incident and lose a piece of weight or forget to add fuel because you are scrambling to get ready, you lose all points.

If you drive through the pits like an !!!!!!!, the penalty is at the tracks discretion which in his case each time, is to accept it. How many people will get hurt because a spoiler is to high or the car is too light?
I wonder what the rule is when a representative of a race team whips an ink pen at a person working the pay off window or in this case someone very near and dear to the operation? Oh I know it is let go as well.
How many thing does a person need to do to get some of those "discretionary" suspensions. I could list a lot more.
I wonder how many other drivers could tell the officials at the pay off window he deliberately took another driver out and the officials do nothing about it? I wonder if every race team would be afforded the same opportunity?

I guess we are just a wannabe and I am fine with that. It is better to just kick his tail on the track without deliberately taking him out.

I was the first person that was so encouraged to have racing in my back yard; I thought it was going to be awesome, a great environment for family fun and entertainment, just to find out the grounds may be different but the BS you have to endure is the same.

Sounds like a real jackfest up there, you guys done racing at that dump ?

Chevy you have not seen anything like this!!!! I have an obligation to my son, family, and sponsors; which most are track sponsors as well. I will attempt to satisfy that obligation but I will be re-considering all of my options going forward. I will see you out somewhere though, we are traveling at the end of the season as always.

really its too bad that people keep going back maybe if the car count was under 10 for a week or 2 jeff would figure it out and the rules would be the rules all year. that is for all classes and everyone

No, what will happen is they will hold the infamous driver meeting and say this behavior will not be tolerated and the "next" person will pay the penalty for it. Then they will go to the 15 hauler and have their separate pre race meeting and then they will have their heat race meeting in the infield until the heats are over with the 15. That is how it will happen. Everyone sees it but wont speak up about it. Every rule that has not been enforced this year has been done by one person and they continue to get a free pass.

But like I said to our team, it is their establishment, the only thing I can control is where we race, and how often we race. I am very much informed of "many" other teams that have had their fill as well.

Actually, we are going to MCR on Friday, this week end is one of our manage the family week ends and Sunday and Monday would not be good nights for us to go. I had it on my schedule but the family would like to go to Niagara or out of town for the week-end.

If we get all three cars done, we may go to Clinton County on Friday night. It does not look good to get the open engines in the other two cars for this week end though.

You going to Bedford for the 3 state flyer race this Sunday?

Speeding through the pits should carry a heavy penalty. In all my years attendimg races I have seen more crew members, officials and fans hurt (some killed) than drivers on track. Pits are generally dark and track noise can keep a crewman from hearing some whack job flying through the pit area. It is a recipe for disaster. As I stated I saw Luke going through the pit are on many occasions. Each time I told the officials and told them he was gonna kill someone. they talked about it at the drivers meetings. Luke was never there. Not sure if they talked to him face to face. If they did, it didn't change his behavior.

Was you there? The fact of the matter is, he flipped off a fourteen year old kid witnessed by many people while lining up for his second set of hot laps; yes I did tell him he was number one and will again and again becasue he is a childish piece of well you know what. Ask everyone that was walking off of the line up hill. I have been niothing but supportive and cordial to him up until he crashes us on purpose and yes he will get his day to go around. I promise that, but it will be on our terms. He is a whining pos in my opinion and yes no one ever misses him when he leaves.

For the record Luke did NOT put Denny around after the races; and the bitching was not about that, it was about not doing anything with regards to the incident in the pits when he felt it was grown up to spin his tires and whip rocks at the cars and trailers. And for the record there is a 5 year boy in the negihbors pit that could very well of been hurt by his BS. No different than any other time he does not get his way. Nothing will be done with him until he hurts someone; the flagman was a crew member of his and never sees anything.. Even when Jeff asked his own official in the pits if he saw; the person responded yes he did and nothig was done about it.

I am not gonna get in a pissin match with you about this, you know denny has hit hoffner numerous times in the past. I suppose the four people that called our house were all blowin smoke up his ass when they said Denny was gonna take him out ( all 4 of them). As for favorite , grow up , no matter where luke races . there is always somebody saying hes favored, because he wins races. Why would he be favored there? And he has no crew member that is an official!

I know what the division sponsor contract states, and what was said at the pre season meetings, I believe a point fund will be there and it should be very generous. The point fund is the last of my issues, I am waiting to see what transpires from the incident last week and how our crew member is treated.

No pissin match, his immaturity could have seriously hurt someone and did hurt a crew member this week, what is next running some one over? If four people called and stated we were taking him out, that is categorically wrong. I will not go for that type of retaliation; it is always someone neutral that pays the piper for that kind of junk and I do not want that responsibility, Denny has hit Hoffner, never with intent and never any more than any other person racing on the bull rings. What you are missing is he does it intentionally and then tells everyone he did it. There should not be a track in the country that tolerates that.

He was hit in the leg by a stone about three inches around when the professional decided he was going to point his rear tires at our pit and spin his tires while leaving.

Well, we are definatley gonna take a week off from up there. We're headed to Winchester Va. again. Things are getting out of control. The favoritism at that place is unreal. This is suppose to be a famlily sport, where everyone can go and enjoy an evening of some good dirt track racing. How is anyone suppose to do that when youre afraid to walk across the road in the pits because of the jack wagons that think they are still racing when they come off the track? I really do not believe that the Fentons would intentionaly take someone out, theres no need. Hoffner thinks he is some kind of proffesional and his sh!t dont stink. I know there are a few teams in the pits that have the equiptment and the skill to beat him and he just cant stand that.

Don't have a Dog in this Fight! Wasn't there...and have no issiues with anyone involved! Its shame when a track is having these kind of issiues in thier first season! But what it looks like to me as an outsider is that the track doesn't know how to controll people or do enforcement! Some people just aren't cut out for it! Does this Jeff guy have any security people??? If he doesn't..he needs to get them! Then when stuff like this happens...he can have them deal with the situation, stay in the background and send in his Leiutenants. Some people are just not confrontationalists. And some people just don't have any Stones! I myself would have about four men as security Specialists......that absolutley would "Crush a Babies Skull" for a nickle! Then when racers are not acting appropriatley....I would send them over to inform the team they are done for the night ..or season...or whatever! OR ELSE! That my friends is how I have controlled the crowds at one of my business's that gets about 300 people a night for the last 38 years! You must have the respect of the people you are trying to manage! And Racers will push the envelope as far as they can! Hate to say this....but looks like a bad start for this place! You must have rules and inforce them properly! And I never liked rule books that intentionally leave grey area's Thats what gets promottors in trouble with fans and racers! Dychris....as my attorney allways says...."Be careful what you wish for....you just may get it" Hope you all get things worked out!

not sure who you are (the 3rd or jr) but you are correct, there is only a few cars there that can beat him and if you run them off (you, the fentons, gordon) then what do you have? hmmm

It's the 3rd. But I'm glad you see my point. They need to realize that it is not right to baby and bargain with him. It takes more than just him to make a show.

when Jeff bought the track everyone around was happy that the place was going to re-open me included and we were all glad to see such hard work going into a place that we all spent a lot of time at . jeff didn't want to open until 2014 but everyone wined so much that he finally said ok we will open this year . then there was a rules meeting for everyone to speak their minds and vote on the rules in every class pure stocks voted on theirs , street stocks voted on theirs and late models and semi late models and four cyliders everyone got their say being that the four cylinder meeting was running long they kind of cut the street stocks short , i remember one guy asking if there would be some kind of weight reduction for cars with 355 or 358 engines and he was never answered because the late model drivers were waiting in the wings .now here is my point first of all you all and me too asked for this and guess what we got it! the pure stocks are now running 4 barrell carbs and you can run welded weight jacks if you add 100 pounds for everything that was not stated in the original rules ... and the street stocks since the meeting .....bert transmissions are legal, no tail pieces and who knows what else was added .now as for luke being a heated , aggressive driver with a short temper well he probably would agree with that ,it seems like all the bad things he does makes the news but the good things he does never gets a peep of news . i am telling you for a fact he has helped a lot of guys in the pits ( me included) with things when they needed help and as far as him and denny maybe they should park on the front stretch and shake hands and bury the hatchet before someone gets seriously hurt . and by the way Scott fenton is another guy who does a lot for anyone in need of help and i thank them both for that . it has been a long season, maybe we all need this season to be over and let everyone cool down . i have heard there are some track changes coming for next year that should make for better racing and more passing . so let me end on this note .... i attended the race at the asphalt track last week and i have seen more fan reaction at a funeral than that place has ,it is good to see the fans at A.M.P standing and cheering their favorite drivers that what makes dirt fans the best people in the world , pick a car a driver and scream your head off nobody else will even give you a second glance it is just normal behavior !!!! here is an idea let Luke and Denny run a king of the hill this week and get all this over with once and for all, get out at the end and shake each others hands .
