From the RUSH release

You do not have to be a RUSH member to compete in any RUSH-sanctioned event. There will be a $75 entry fee at Pittsburgh and a $100 entry fee at Roaring Knob. RACEceivers are mandatory and transponders will be required at both tracks.

I was just wondering for the guys that DID BUY A RUSH MEMBERSHIP that seems to have NO BENIFIT WHAT SO EVER...... Do they get to just drive thru the pit gate without pit passes and STILL GET TO RACE????? I'm just a little confused as to how this all works

Confused?, hardly, just another keyboard cowboy trying to start a controversy where none exists.

Unlike you who won't say who you are but talk so much shit on here, everyone knows who starboyshady is and he's the furthest from a keyboard cowboy. Love to see you say it to his face, but you won't because you're just like everyone else that hides behind a screen name. Before you say anything about me, everybody that needs to know who I am, knows and can point anybody my way. I don't hide behind a keyboard or run away when confronted.

Most real race fans on here know me, that would be those fans who don't criticize every little thing that happens at the races every week. I only take issue with what I feel are unfair criticisms of certain tracks. I have given my name on this forum many times, don't hide behind anything, because I rarely make derogratory comments like so many others on this board. I could care less who you or starboyshade are, certainly bear you no ill will, and have no intentions of confronting you or anyone else. I speak my opinion, and if it doesn't square with yours, so be it. This post began with information about the prize giveaways for Saturday's Rush show, and when someone tries to add some controversy where there is none, I simply call them on it.

@ flash49 , first of all , I am not a fan , nor do I ever go in the stands , therefore I would NEVER know who you are nor where you sit to WATCH the races. So , therefore I will take your comment with a grain of salt , because you do not know what I am even talking about. The comment I made was about pit passes and entry fees , you know the added $300 dollars per week of ADDED COST...... But like I said before , you don't know what you are talking about .

And I apologize for being harsh on you (flash49) about being a just a fan . It was wrong on my part . I was just trying to point out / pissed about the fact that you were defending something that you have nothing to do with.

No need to apologize, I am just a fan, albeit a very passionate fan who has been going to the races since the mid 1950s. Sorry about calling you a keyboard cowboy, mea culpa. I know auto racing is very expensive, and while I also think paying an entry fee for a racecar is a very bad idea, I felt it was inappropriate to make that comment after the post seemed to be going in such a positive direction. Good luck tonight
