the 604 is a 350. steel heavy crankshaft, junk rods an pistons, heads that are no better than dart (other than weight) , a hyd. roller cam that doesn't even have a aggressive profile for oval racing and a 10:1 compression ratio ( can run pump gas). if you guys are getting your butts whipped by cars that have this you need to look other places other than motor. I mean its proven it is a 400 HP motor, maybe a little more with high $ bolt on parts but no where near 500 HP. . idk the rules but I do know the HP alone or the 50 LB of weight savings because of the aluminum heads is not winning them races. guys have been building 500+ HP stocker motors for years, if your loosing to a 400 HP motored car you better work on your combination, cause its not right.
So then whats the explanation for tonight? 33c was fast through the turns of course but his car setup should not have any effect on why he can pull every car down the straightaway on restarts. The track was super bitey. Thats all motor and it doesnt look like it has only "400 HP". JMO

They need to also put in a shock rule that all crates have to run the same shocks. the cars are suppose to be a economy class to save the racers money this class has gotten out of hand. If you can run all this high dollar shit then get in a super late!!So then whats the explanation for tonight? 33c was fast through the turns of course but his car setup should not have any effect on why he can pull every car down the straightaway on restarts.
