Id pull out the extra diaphragm straighten out the linkage and run it. It's gotta be better than a 2bbl!
I heard good things about kb, but they're spendy. I went with Karb King to save some $ and liked what I've been getting.
Has Any one ever dealt with Karb King in Pittsburgh?

KB isn't " spendy " braswell is spendy ... I have several of both and prefer KB by a mile . KB has the best customer service bar none and their price is right in line with anyone else who's legit . A 42k motor will run like dog $hit with the wrong carb.

Huh?
Braswell IS spendy, but KB is still more than Karb King. A fully built 4412 from Karb King ran me $330 using their core. I think KB was asking $450, and it didn't have knife edged butterflies or flush screws. Don't know what KBs flow, but Karb King's did 612 on Jim Dove's bench. No tech issues, either.
Too funny xchev--and painful, too! I'm an Amsoil dealer--want some 20 weight?

Dude your a toss off . 450 doesn't buy a decent carb anywhere. I have bought several
New braswells and several new KB carbs and KB is no where near as expensive as braswell.
