For a 100 lap race? Still a crap payout. That's a 30 lap purse, not 100.i guess its 3000 plus win. should be easy money. lol

I have to stick up for gofast on this one ... not once did they mention any names on to who was not going to race in the chili race someone just assumed because they have race cars that they were being talked about and i was just picking on gofast and i am sorry to ruffle anyones feathers as to thinking that they were being talked about . race where you want and just be happy. life is just a short term thing eventually we will all get over it .
race, when are you bringing out a car? would be nice to see you on the other side of the track.

3k to win is laughably bad for a 100 lap race. Dudes are getting 2500 to START at Knoxville next weekend.
Well Bacon, Here's what is ! This isn't KNOXVILLE and this was never meant to be a high profile race. The payouts are based on the sponsorship I have and money I get from my bank in the form of a loan each year, yes that's rite a LOAN!! People like yourself that are quick to run at the mouth seldom do anything worthwhile in their life. This is my worthwhile thing that I like to do each year! I do this for fun , to help some charities and give the drivers a last extra distance race venue before winter. Not because I have to and certainly not for the money. So if you feel like your cutting down this race is your worthwhile thing, then by all means please do, but I have to tell you its been around for awhile now and I think it can stand up to any shit you can throw, of course we have our good nights and our bad ones and that goes without saying, so Should you want to stay home this night, by all means please do so or you could come and enjoy the show its entirely up to you, but either way the show will go on !

The lack of professionalism here is amazing. This is not the way to get support for your race.
And 3k for 100 laps is sad. There is no other way to describe it. 50 laps? sure, that's decent, but it's more a purse for a 30 lapper (like Lernerville's Steel City Stampede, which will have more cars than your race)

You have to remember these guys aren't running Cornett and Clements motors , they are running stock 350's out of a 1979 Chevy van .... Their cost per lap is lower than a superlatesThe lack of professionalism here is amazing. This is not the way to get support for your race.

Yeah, the field will be mostly steel blocks, but the fastest guys in that division are spending just as much on motors as you are.
And even if a guy is running a stock 350 out of a 79 G20, only one guy is taking home any kind of decent money. Everybody else will get enough to take the crew out for pizza at the end of the race. Little Caesar's Pizza.

I hear about all these big money steel block cars but all the ones I see look like demo derby cars .... I guess the spent it all on the motor and couldn't afford a 60 dollar sheet of aluminumYeah, the field will be mostly steel blocks, but the fastest guys in that division are spending just as much on motors as you are.

Part of the laps will be counted under yellow, so it will end up only being 60-70 race laps..I don't care how small the track is, but $3,000 to win a 100 lap race is insane. 50 laps at the "most".
Wonder who's Brainstorm this was ??
