yup mike you are totally right, what with all the facts i presented and the 20+ shows this year and the probably hundreds in the last few years i have been to i know nothing about what im talking saying....makes perfect sense now...carry on then

No one can say anything negative at all about Mercer without Mike throwing a temper tantrum about it. I can't believe Mercer Raceway Park let's one of its employees come one here and act like Mike does. It definitely puts a bad light on mercer.

All of mercer's staff is a bunch of dickwads! They have to be the most ignorant assholes they could find. O ya lernerville had over a hundred cars for 2 classes. So 183 for 7 classes is a lil lite .

looking at the results i would say it was pretty light...full fields but not the super counts like past years...183 cars for 7 classes which is about 26 cars per class

Ace Speedway Altamahaw, NC 9/13/13 Late model stock cars-9 Mini stocks- 11 Street stocks-5 Talk about pretty light. 25 cars for 3 classes. 8 cars per class. I know I should complain. But it was my first visit to the track. It's a paved track. It's a beautiful facility. It was a Friday night. I passed two high school football games on the road to the track. It was the season finale. The crowd was decent. They had a nice autograph session before the 75 lap late model feature. They have a real nice VIP area where for additional cost you get a meal. But, enough of that. Back to more serious problems.

when you drop the pay out from 1000 to 500 on Friday night, and reduce Saturdays pay also. you cant expect teams to recognize this as a premier event anymore. it always used to be 1000 Friday and 2000 Saturday ( would draw 80 cars)

Totally agree. This used to be one of the best weekends of the year with the high payouts and great stock car counts. Put it back to 1,000 Friday and 2,000 Saturday with only 1 big paying feature. The stock cars will show up and it would be a good show.

I think the quality of stocks that could have been there were not. I remeber years back there was 122 stocks but they paid 3000 to win. That announcer they have sucks half the time you cant even hear what he said because he will not turn it up . We said something to him about it one time and he said you cant hear when were racing well you cant hear him when there not racing

Don't encourage him to turn the mic up. I've been to nearly 60 tracks in my life, and he is easily one of the most annoying and obnoxious announcers I have encountered at any of them. The less you hear of him, the better.

Paging NAPA. We don't need much of the money ($12 M) you were giving MWR to just boost our to win on Friday and Saturday. Yes we know. If you just gave enough to raise to $1000 and $2000 everyone would complain you didn't give enough. We understand. Just thought we'd ask.

When cars do not show for$500,or $1,500 what makes you think they will show for $2,000? When you race for $300 or less weekly and now have a chance at what is offered up now why would you not go? That is more money than the normal winners purse. When they had all the big car counts and 12 heat races that started 10+ cars you had a piss poor shot if you started further back than the 2nd row. Now you have near the same amount of money and way less cars to battle to make the show and you see very few cars. Why do you think that is? Fuel cost for the car and tow rig?,pit fees, entry costs, everything wore out at this time of season? The list could go on and on. Hodgkiss is correct make it a $50,000 to win event and see how many still do not attend.

Just stick to smoking yokes instead of bitching

just stick to getting lapped and being a track packer instead of having to put you .2 cents on every topic i make...cause from looking at it seems other people don't have an issues with what i said, just you...shocking

If Jon raced at Mercer or Lernerville on a smaller track with 20+ cars how many times would he get lapped?

lmfao!!!

Mike is his own biggest fan, and wherever he is announcing is the center of the motorsports universe. I know, I had to listen to him "running the show" at Lernerville for years. Meantime, he couldn't carry Dow Carnahan's shorts.

It was a pretty good show tonite. My biggest complaint is the amount of pace and caution laps. If they would cut them down it would speed up the show a lot

The amount of caution laps were out of control, for a while I thought they were doing that on purpose, hoping for the rain to get there to call it...the track was in good shape...

IMO the voice of Lernerville was Jim Ferguson.

Since there's more inbred dudes at the small tracks you may have a slightly better chance of finding someone willing to take smode
From a diseased rinosaurus pizzel such as your self ....
