The concept of combining 'stock' classes is absurd!!! Lets run a 305 against a 350??? The idea of both the s.s. and charger class was always to have affordable classes that provided a stepping stone- 4cyl. To charger to S.S. ..... This has been ruined by lack of tech and rule changes.... The same reason we want to see a late model class with strict rules and cheap motors/shocks/tires...should be applied to the lower divisions first. Lasky had a detrimental effect on all 3 of these divisions. Fix them first - make them affordable-competitive- and 'simple' to run (big gear rule/tech/tires) and car counts will come back. In other words make the class like it was ten years ago- where a guy didnt need bug buck everything to run up front. Then worry bout starting new divisions. Oh yeah - running pure and s.s. divisions had happened at Jtown before- it sucked.

They had a car show there in October and I noticed the real estate sign at the gate said "sold"..hopefully we'll be racing in '14 and the forseeable future. It gets old going through the uncertainty every single offseason. That surely doesn't help the car counts. And it will never be a dirt track again - get over it. There are enough dirt tracks in the area.
