Seems like you are doing the same thing.....the Blairs have brought the hate on themselves with their on track tactics. Not that hard to figure out, hope he makes the most out of this deal. But it is very obvious why people are overly critical of him, take off the blinders. A dirty driver is a dirty driver, regardless of whether you are a fan or not.

couldn't agree more george, i would never argue their talent.
they lost alot of fans and respect when Rob ran a crate car 2 years ago, and would blatantly help max on track!

what is your point? i said he has talent!

i'm making a statement about why they are hated as much as they are. i agree with you that Max does not need his dad to help him on the track.

Honestly I think the " hate " you speak of is just 4 or 5 race studders who like to partake in some daily " yoke puffing sessions "

No it goes way beyond 4 or 5 race studders. Does he have talent yes. Is he a dirty driver yes. And very much a tool like his old man. Definitely learned how to spin people from his dad.

I've seen a ton of guys turn other drivers on a dirt track. doesn't mean they are all dirty drivers. The majority of the time when someone is classified as a "dirty" driver, its because of a situation that they couldn't help. whether it be a guy coming down on him, or brake checks, things of that nature.

If he was half as dirty as you claim he wouldn't win 35 times a year ... He would leave the track on a wrecker ... People don't put up with being constantly punted ...

As I'm sure you noticed, I said "the Blairs" implying both of them. Didn't say he crashed his way to all those wins last season, but the damage was already done. This stems back to the few years when Rob was in a crate quite frequently and their obvious tactics on track which included getting in the way or flat crashing everyone who was a threat to beat Max. Went to Tri City a handful of times that year and about everytime I went I stayed to check out the crate feature as week in and week out they were finding a way to screw someone over. Also, the first few years of the crates at Mercer it seemed Max was in drama every week. But as has happened with talk of the entire class, my interested dropped to zero.

Was just pointing out the fact that the hate for the Blairs is no mystery, it has absolutely been brought on themselves and the compete disregard for their competitors. But as previously stated, I really do hope he makes the most out of this shot.

I've seen more crate racers punt guys in 2 years than the last 5 in supers. You can't power by them like other classes so guys punt em. Won't be the last kid to drive like that in the crates either. I wish him well in the great opportunity he received.
