Thanks Snooky , those were the good old days of Clearfield we towed 110 miles one way so the drivers I helped could get out and run on a big track. The only other track that was close to that size was Expo at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds in Ohio. We went to Clearfield on Saturdays and Expo on Sunday Nights.

Frank Gorichky second in points at Jennerstown in 1969? Fourth in points at Butler in 1960. The # 22 was owned by Dick Neely who later owned the # 7 driven by Dale Johnson.

Yes it was Lube , I helped Dick Gill in the garage mostly the one he rented in Harrisville then the one in Slippery Rock behind the Riviera , at the track in Clearfield Dick usually had enough of a pit crew so I mostly would work on Tom and Dick Hesselgessers cars. When Ben Miley was a student at SRU he would come to the Slippery Rock garage and talk to us about racing , if I remember right he liked Dick's Boyce chassis enough that he bought one.
