Exactly why I took off on Friday! I hope it lasts until midnight!

If a track gets the reputation that you're required to have the next day off at work because the programs are so long and the headliner runs last then weekday shows will never be a success. It would be smarter for the NDRL to run the LM's first and get people out of there by 9:30, that will make people want to come back. The LM feature ending at midnight will make any future weekday shows a disaster financially.

With only two divisions, it doesn't give you much time to get your car ready for the next time your on the track. The pit side perspective.

Exactly and I'm sure that's why they did it. It's not like they are gonna pull 40 cars for a regular show or anything. Guys need time to make changes etc.....

The track should have plenty of moisture in it. Hope we see a crazy race like the 1996 Pittsburgher after it rained.

Dont count on it, we took a ride by there early this week, the roads were dusty like July.

Ask how they do it in central Pa when they run two division in a couple hrs with no bitching

You had a great thing going with 2 divisions now you ruin it with a 3rd division on a work night count me out now .

Me too, not going to watch crate late demo derby on a Thursday night.

I don't know why this topic has turned into a bash the crate post. First of all each week their are more crates and the racing is typically better then the Late Models. Late Models is all about who got the deepest pockets. How can you expect small teams like Musolino, Beck, Gasser etc to compete with the wallets of the Ferree's and Johnson's? Simply you can't. In crates you have 10-12 cars each race with a legitimate chance to win. There was not 1 crate race last year that took an hour to run. Everyone bitching about this would be the first to bitch if it was 30 to get in for only late models.

What about the poor racers and crews who have jobs to. They have to stay up late where's the outcry of sympathy for them. Racers do it because they want to you're not a victim man up and watch some racing

Actually the Crates put on a great show at PPMS, and since they're running last you won't have to stay and watch their feature. You people should be glad racing season has started again, instead of bitching as usual.
