Your first post in this topic was stupid, considering the horrible crash the Eck was involved in. I was just pointing that out. You're free to offer you opinion anytime.

The implication of your first post is that since Eck is a rough driver, it's okay for him to be crashed. If that is what you meant, it is extremely insensitive considering how badly Doug may have been injured. If that's not what you meant, you need to rephrase your post. Had you mentioned some concern for Mr. Eck's welfare, I would not have responded. I never claimed the Russ King intentionally put Eck into the wall, but a slide job (badly botched) on the second lap of a heat race is never a good idea.

Leftie, it's all about context, if the post heading was about rough driving or rough drivers, I wouldn't have said anything. But since it was a post about a horrible accident, if you can't see how insensitive your post was, then so be it. I'm off to PPMS.

Thought Davies throttle stuck? Saw the video last year and it didn't look like Eck's fault on that one.
Look again, he tapped him in the right quarter and turnded him right into the catch fence, I was there.. On a another note, glad Eck was ok, I didn't see the crash but never would want anyone seriously injured..

Dude are you high? maybe you should watch the video again. Its pretty clear that Davies wasn't gonna make the turn, Eck was on the top side away from him and Davies headed straight for him, no way was it Eck's fault...

Im glad you posted this or I was about to. But he was there, so we are still wrong!! People have some bad eyesight
I hate to be the one to ask, I am glad Eck is ok. But does anyone have a video of the wreck they can edit and post? It would help clear up this whole BS.
Or does anyone have Lernerville's heat race video?
Thanks

Clearly you have a very biased view on this and the video shows that you are 100% wrong.
You can clearly see that something went wrong with Davies car and Eck was in the wrong place at the wrong time. There was nothing he could have done to avoid the contact.
Plain and simple a very bad racing accident.

There is no need for a video of last Friday's wreck. Anyone who happened to be looking at the accident while it was occurring has no doubt as to what took place. Russ King got into Doug Eck because of a poorly executed slide job, and drove him hard right into the wall. I am sure it was not intentional, but it was not good judgement on Russ's part.

I was there that night also, sounded like Davies throttle stuck wide open...any driver could have been where Eck was during that accident and would have had the same results...
