can anyone tell me where I can get a pure stock with 383 or bigger, .520 plus cam and might have a shot at beating the 3 car. I know the 3 is a good handling car i've seen it (and heard it as a defense for them not cheating) But come on start 13th and be in 3rd on lap 5 wtf. there are other good cars handling cars out there that can't motor there way to the front like that.

Last weeks race took a week to get to lap 5 whole lot of cautions. Maybe traction control on that baby.

and the tech has been followed through hahaha let it slide is there motto. looking in the wrong places. you can hear a difference in the 3 car for week to week. and come on give him a week to change the motor before pumping. pump that thing right after a win not before the races a week later and see the difference in finish when the field is fair.

There were a TON of cautions...everyone with people that were in front of the 3. All that did was give him spots. Was a good race between those top 3 cars.

^^Right Ramey!  Absolutely.

Our Team has done a lot of racing.  We certainly don't know it all, but this is not our first rodeo.

Hahaha.  383.   hahaha..

Those guys are all pretty close if you ask me.  Now I am partial though, but I think the difference is behind the wheel and in the drivers seat. That can obviously be debated, but I know who's side I am on.

That car has been looked at by tech more than any other car there.

If you want win at Hummingbird or ANY!!!! short track you build a HANDLING CAR! not a "mash the loud pedal" and hope to god you have tires by halfway!

But hey if that's what you think wins races HAVE AT IT! but don't start bitching when you can't get a night out of a set of tires.

I think they outta check top 5 clutches, for2barrels, for stock mounting suspension points and shocks. Would be surprised I think. Then check cam lift.

We raced the m21 pure stock there for a long time and I'm pretty sure we broke every rule they had then. The first year we built a car by every one of their rules and got our asses handed to us. It got old really fast so the next year we built a new Monte Carlo with a much better engine and tried that but it still wasn't enough. Then we added racing springs, adjustable shocks, changed a few mounting locations around and took it to Floyd Kline. All that shit just to be competitived so anyone that says their car is completely stock and winning is full of crap. I've spent thousands of hours over the years working on a race car so people aren't going blow smoke up my ass.

Yeah can't argue with that lol. He was a good driver if he kept his temper tantrums under control. There were a group of really good drivers then. Fuzzy, Mike Donuhue, both the Kot guy plus a few more. I did what I had to to finally win races and I'm sure there are guys still doing the same thing as we did. Bone stock Monte Carlos with a 40 over 350 and stock suspension and shocks do not handle the way some of those cars do. I know if I had the chance to look at those cars I know for a fact I could find something illegal on every one of them.

I think someone should pay the money for that car and find out...if its such a freak awesome car that it appears to be...ask to buy it. I would assume...as is with everything in this world...that everything can be sold.... As the godfather would say....make them an offer they can't refuse. Lmao that was a successful car before wasnt it?

I didn't have any big hammer or racing shocks or springs when I raced pure stock. Won a lot of races. Sold it and didn't change a thing. Car never saw victory lane again. I guess it's all what you wanna think.
