Sam McAdams is the new "tech man". Maybe he should tech his own car since he is running a 406 in a strickly stock division!

what does it matter what engine and chassis he has. He found the 88 illegal and he did his job and dqed him. I just love how people can be mad because a guy got dqed. If you cant follow the rules its your own fault. good job Sam and Marion center for enforcing the rules keep it up.

There is always more to the story........ It wasn't that it was allowed to run illegal either. It NEVER failed before because it was always legal. They were going to let him slide because he has always passed tech before and it was his first win. Till he went to go to get his trophy then was told no they couldn't let it go. (because some of the other drivers were mad ( can't blame them) even though it was left go before with other drivers) It wasn't off 2 inches because they wanted it to be. Come on, they would never risk something like that . That's just plain stupid!!! Pretty sure it won't happen again either. Just seems a little funny 88B was the only car all year DQ'd. Things aren't done with consistency at MC. I hope the tech guy keeps doing his job too but time will tell.

Yes, Sam is the same guy from the Challenger incident. Happened right in front of me. As for him running a 406 in strictly stocks, I would assume they'd have somebody else do any tech on strictly stocks if he's still involved with them.

racefuel75 you say that lukes car wasn't illegal all year and that the street stocks were teched alot if you call 3 times in a season (alot ok then). then we have the illegal issue we as drivers all stood there and heard his dad say "rich it has been this way all year and you let it go". so you telling us as drivers that were standing rite there that we all heard him wrong. get the facts correct before you post
