Thanks to PPMS for giving sprint car fans an opportunity to watch a quality sprint car race so late in the season.  Hopefully the weather is perfect and 35 cars pull in the pits.

I agree, when was the last Sprint show there for a touring series?

I have an old issue of Open Wheel that shows PPMS on the schedule for the ill fated USA series (1989)
but don't remember seeing Kinser and the boys.
I recall maybe Jeff Swindell winning one years back driving the #1st car and remember an AllStar show where Ricky Hood took a bad flip in turns 1 and 2 but I'm thinking its been awhile since a big name show.

I think the All Stars had the last Sprint touring series event back about 1997 - 1998.

PPMS has put alot on the table for the local sprints with little to no support from the drivers and owners.

I really don't consider the Renegade series a touring series yet since I think they had One race.
I really hope the sprints show up it would be great to see a full field at the Monster Half Mile!!!

Again, thats to PPMS on the effort.

After that last 9 car failure I would have pulled the plug myself so hopefully they do get 30+ sprints that would be awesome to see.

I took a look back and the last bigger sanction sprint race was an All Star races in June of 2000, which Kenny Jacobs won. They have run a dozen Moss/All Stars races there with a few others scheduled cancelled/rained out.
