I be leave the 92x was in one of the cautions or he would have got him. I may be wrong on the caution but he was fast and for the 01 and tech the tech guys built the 01

:) It just annoys me when I hear people say that the fastest car did not win the race.. then why do they race? They could just run time trials and the fastest car would always win? Not many people would find that exciting, hence that is why we run the race. Staying out of trouble is part of racing.  The 92X did have a good car and a great run! I know those guys are not happy with 2nd. They want to win and put a lot of work into their equipment. They have some big races coming up and I wish them good luck.

As far as tech goes I believe that Steve ( the driver ) and his dad were in the shed so yes some of the guys that built the car were in the tech shed.. I think you could say that for every car that was in tech? They did not tech the other cars as far as I know so I am not sure of your point?

the 92x should have one with that 421-430 motor, round tube chassis covered by sheet metal, the deck was way to high from the seat two the spoiler, your only allowed .3 holes where your rear shock mounts that car has 4 and your side spoiler has 2 stop 5 inches from the side piece from the roof to the side i think thats enough said

They were in the tech shed an awful long time to not get DQ if this were all true. Either you are making this all up or tech was a waste of time. Which is it? And I'm tired of the "it's fast and loud so it's gotta be a 430" argument. You could have won with 400hp that night.

they said he pumped at 404,number 1 how can u pump at that.....but lets say that number is right the 01 car pumped at 377 and i know his cubes,so add the differents from the 01 and add to 404 puts in in that range

So he pumped legal then? I don't see your argument. If you are basing your claim on a theory that the results are inaccurate, then the tech process was a joke. Should be thrown out. I've never heard of....
Step 1: pump #1 cyl
Step 2: calculate total displacement
Step 3: add 20-30 cubic inches

Just so I can put this to rest I decided to speak up. I drive the 92x, and believe me Ive been driving and crewing on stocks for 20 plus years and I have never climbed in a car that is as smooth as the one i have now. Petermanbuilt chassis is by far the best stock chassis out there!  As much as "wild bill" wants to claim its round tube and has NASA trick stuff, it is actually just a very well thought out and designed stock framed car.  No heims end trailing arms, no trail or lead, no 3 link, no fancy spring rod bullshit, just a solid built, put a set up on it and DRIVE it car.  Petermanbuilt cars are designed for drivers and teams that have experience, not guys that jumped in the game and dont understand what makes a car work. We spent almost an hour in the tech shed just to prove to the promoter of the track and the tech man that there was nothing special about that car other than the team that built it and runs it! Teams win races folks. They had all the time in the world to look it over and I wasnt leaving till they were 100% satisfied.  BTW "wild bill" If you dont understand how an engine can pump 404 ci then everything I just mentioned is probably Spanish to you as well. Bring it fella, although I doubt you will do anything other than run your gums and cry the blues.  What were you and the parts vendor doing in the tech shed anyway?  If you want info on goin fast hit google up, that search engine is way more forgiving than my crew lmao. God bless folks! Support our sport please or Obama will kill it for sure! Lil guys is only 2 weeks away......lets race!!

I was standing outside the tech shed that night the 92x (brent Johnson) was in there. the reason it took so long was definitely not bcuz tech officials were going over his car. its simply for him wining that the parts vendor, that was helping tech, was not looking at his car. when he first declined to remove valve cover to be pumped he should have been throwed out of tech with DQ. not to mention the comments he made. rules state only driver and one person from crew allowed in tech, he had 4-5. as far as being illegal? brent knows he was illegal! yes he can build a strong motor and he also knows that to pump correctly you must roll a motor over 10 times simultaneously to read properly as did the 01. not bumping it a rotation at a time! come on brent not everyone is as stupid as you think....... and about a comment you made while the 01 was in tech about 2 more laps and you would have had the win lol. do you not realize that the 01 had it in cruise control after he took a sizeable lead? hitting his marks and keeping it straight, he wasn't even running it hard man.

BTW BRENT IF APPARENTLY YOUR PETERMAN GUY BUILT CHASSIS MUST ONLY BE ABLE TO READ SPANISH BECAUSE ALL THOSE THINGS I POINTED OUT JUST BY LOOKIN AT YOUR CAR ARE ILLEGAL TO HUMMINGBIRDS RULES AND THE PARTS VENDOR AS U CALL HIM WAS THE MAN THAT PUT THE MONEY UP FOR THIS RACE,HIS NAME IS CHUCK POWELL THAT BUILT THE 01 CAR LEGALLY FOR THEIR RULES THAT WON THE RACE,SO THOSE CHASSIS ARE CALLED BUBBA,S RACING CHASSIS PLUS LOUIE ASK HIM TO DO TECH,JUST LIKE HE DID LAST YEAR AND LAST YEAR EDDIE AND BRUCE DIDNT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HIM TECHING THEIR LEGAL CARS,SO FOR THIS RACE IT LOOKS LIKE THE BUBBA RACING CHASSIS WAS BETTER,SO INSTEAD OF RUNNING YOUR GUMS MAYBE U COULD READ THE RULES AND SHARE THEM WITH YOUR CHASSIS BUILDER SO HE CAN LEARN HOW TO BUILD A LEGAL CAR THEN MAYBE YOU COULD WIN  A RACE UP THEIR
