diamonddave I do have to agree with you, all sides have yet to be heard.
I am amazed that this happened and by someone that I have known since he was young, but that is what I said about a co-worker who did the same thing to his step daughter. I just dont know what to think and I would like to put some of my faith in Ricky and hope he didnt do this. Say what you will but that is how I see it to be until he is tried in a court of law and they convict him, I believe he is innocent. And leave his family out of this they are not the ones who are accused of this crime.

The news blew up a raping and drugging for the "story"? They didn't even give the WHOLE story of what he's being charged for...the courts must be blowing this out of proportion then....again, $100,000 bail that he couldn't post(so he sits in the Washington County Jail), as well as 10 counts(2 Felony 1's, 4 Felony 2's, 1 Felony 3, 2 Misdemeanor 1, and 1 Misdemeanor 2). His preliminary hearing is next Wednesday September 24th....so I guess we will find out how things are looking then. All of this is available to the public, so to say this story is false so the news could have a story is just downright ridiculous.

I can't believe people are defending him using the logic that he never raped their kids while they watched .... OJ Simpson never killed anyone while I watched ... I am not defending him. I will not use this venue as a court of public opinion and accuse someone I have known, without knowing all the facts. Only a court of law will bring out the truth. Until that time comments like the previous posts, can be acceptable. But now it is only bringing more damage to the victims and Meglayes family. Lets give it a rest people. Until the facts are presented your opinions could do more damage than good!

From they way the story read there was enough evidence to arrest the pos. It says they investigated and interviewed him before the arrest was made.

I am in no means worried about being anything politically correct. You posted the way it is by ...facts?! I only am saying that I will wait till ALL facts are presented. I never said he didnt do this, nor did I say your or anyone elses opinions were wrong IF this is how it went down. I cant imagine this victim making up this incident, but I want all the facts before I sell out someone. Oh by the way, 5 million Penn State alumni never defended sandusky, it was Joe Paterno who was being defended for his contributions to Penn State football and the student body.
