To race I suppose. That's the only reason I can think of for hauling a racecar to a race track

Well I advanced far enough to get into the non qualifiers race. 89 cars here and 48 advanced to the A main or non qualifiers race ...... So yeah I wasn't great but 41 other guys did worse ....

Speedster is right. There are dozens of teams that run 20- 25 times a year and work on their cars knowing them in and out. Plus driver know how to get around track. This dude is nothing but a field filler.

Congratulations on your limitted success!  But truthfully....You are NEVER going to compete with these guys racing 5 times a year!  You yourself stated this in an earlier post!  But..Racing requires all your time....money.... and all your thought process!  You can't run the worlds most successful deck business(90 hours a week) and race at the same time!  If you are ever going to be able to compete with these guys...the deck  business needs to go!  And it needs to be full time racing!  I don't see that happening!  So I guess order that steel block and go Kick some ____ at these tough Local Venues!  Be the Big Fish in the little pond.  Or get a Box at Lennerville and relax and watch the races on Friday night!

And BTW Legend....once you sell the Deck Business....your going to need to hire a Crew Chief!  All the Big time Drivers have them!  Maybe you could get Robbie Allen off Satterle....Or Austin Hargrove off the Juice..... Can't get Huey any longer as he has passed away...but maybe Tator Masters will take you on!  He took Don Oneal; to the top!  And Now Barry Wright has!    Even Bloomer has a Crew Chief.  Even the greatest drivers of Yesterday had Crew chiefs!  Gerald Chamberlain had Gus Frear... Bob Wearing back in the had Dunk....Even in the A&H motorsports days.... The Juice had another full time guy that served as Crew Chief and Lived at the shop, a long with Gary Henry.    So lets cash out that Deck Business and become a Legend!  Get that Wildside Rig ordered and your going to need a few more "House of Power" engines to go on tour with!  Time is wasting...your almost too OLD to do this!  You want to be a "Racer:" don't you????

Actually all the "Big Time Drivers" dont have crew chiefs, theres only a certain few that even have a "crew chief" out there, and you pretty much named them all... You make yourself sound less educated and more dated than anything when you try and make satirical posts.

Ok..... So now I understand .... In order to race I have to sell my business and race for a living ??? How the fuk does that make sense ??? Racing is a hobby !!! I went to run the DTWC because it's where the best guys are and provides the best learning Experience plus the 2 nights of camping there partying . I sold 18 t shirts , finished 17th in the Dunn memorial , learned a TON about my car and what it needs and had fun all weekend. And got to watch the GOAT put on a clinic of how to drive on ice. I don't think you guys understand what 90 cars means . By the time you get to
The non qualifier race all of those guys have won multiple features this year at their local tracks. Just like the b mains at eldora they cut 115+ down to 66 and by that time it's all FAST race cars . I
100% know that if I get my car 100% at these races I will be in the Amain. And if not I will learn more next time and have fun. I didn't intend to only race 5 times this year. I had 3 weekend weddings and 4 rain outs and a harder than normal summer with the employee situation.

Do you even understand anything about racing and what it takes to be successful?  I guess not!

And neither did you Gene

There is a difference about wanting to have some fun on a weekend night and racing within your means, and your own terms,  than wanting to challenge the best in the country!  I never wanted to put the effort necessary in to be at the top level!  Never claimed to even be close!  Never claimed to be anything other than a guy that liked to race!  How I wanted to race!  If I wanted to race!  Never had any attitude at all!  But Make no mistake..I know what it takes to be successful!  Was never willing to make that sacrifice!  And would never say I could of competed at that level!  What bothers me is when we get comments from people on here about racing that never owned...worked on...drove...or sacrificed one thing for a racecar!  I sacrificed plenty in my time to have a racecar!  And I was never interested in having anyone tell me how to do it!  Even if they knew more than I did!  I spent my money that I worked for, for my own enjoyment!  Not any one elses!  And really never CARED WHAT ANYONE ELSE THOUGHT!  AND STILL DON'T!  Never confuse what my level of knowledge is with what my opinion is!  Two different things!  I have been involved in racing for 40 Years!  And enjoyed every minute of it!  Wouldn't trade it for the world!  I will compare what I spent  and sacrificed on this sport with anyone! Enough said!
